My family and I went for dinner here on Saturday night and had a lovely meal. I booked here after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor, i don't think we would have known about this place if not. The place itself is very cosy and the food is very creative and unique - but very good!! Servcie was excellent... More

Relaxed service. Be prepared to spend over an hour here. Absolutely perfectly cooked food and the best dessert I have ever eaten. I had the lamb followed by the chocolate brownie and can't wait to go back.

This restaurant was a 5 minute walk from our hotel (Novotel Blackfriars) so I figured it would be a good place to go our first night in London. I'm really glad we went because it was great! The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Their menu isn't long, but they have a good... More

I held a surprise dinner for my husband’s citizenship last night with 15 of his closest friends, it could not have been a better evening! I have been planning it for a few weeks and had a couple of challenging, weird and wonderful dietary requirements which did not phase Jon and the team at all! The food was absolutely divine,... Interestingly different menu, pleasant service, good value, great tasting food and wine. We had poor service at the bar prior to the meal, but when we complained about it when the bill came at the end of the evening, the owner was very apologetic, reminded us that the service charge was optional, and obviously reprimanded the barman very quickly, as... If you are looking for somewhere to eat close to Waterloo station this would be a good choice - but you aren't likely to stumble across it by accident as it's slightly off the beaten track. I went at 6pm on a Thursday evening without a booking - and we were really lucky to get a table as the place... More

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. Lovely atmosphere, brilliant staff and beautiful food. We had the beef which was more like perfectly cooked thick slices of steak with crisp tasty roast potatoes and crisp veg with huge yorkshire pudding. Will definitely be returning next time we're in London.

Went there with friends, and really enjoyed the menu - which is not too complex, but has some really interesting options. Great cocktails, and a fairly lively place. Good for a night out with mates. Nothing much else around it though - so is definitely destination dining.

This was a brilliant choice for celebrating our anniversary. The setting of the restaurant is lovely, with a warm and subtly buzzing atmosphere. Service is excellent too, attentive but not OTT, the kind that made us think we'd be paying for the fresh bread (which we weren't charged for). The food is very reasonable for what it is: beautifully presented,... More

My wife and I have been on 3 occasions with another couple. The food is good, we were not rushed and most importantly, it is within easy access of Waterloo. It is a little oasis, reasonably priced, but when it is busy, it is quite noisy for old folks like us to hear each other.
