I visited with my daughter for lunch. The super salad with chicken was delicious. The haddock fishcakes consisted of whole flakes of smoked haddock surrounded by a rosti outer layer. These were also delicious. Excellent service and lovely surroundings.

Good Food and service. The fish was tasty. The ambience was light and comfortable. I especially liked the cucumber and gin cocktail.

This is my 3rd time coming to the restaurant. I work occasionally in London and when I stay up I make a point of coming to the Laughing Gravy. Absolutely delicious food and a really good atmosphere. I've recommended it to many London friends and...More

In 1982 I was growing up in a dreary, violent, run down London. To be honest The 2019 dystopian future the film “Blade Runner” portrayed would have been a marked improvement on nearly every level, cultural or otherwise. So here I am then, 35 years...More

We had many things as there were four of us but, by far, the best was the cauliflower Mac and cheese. It is on the menu as an entree but it’s way too rich for one person. Get it to share and enjoy! I promise...More

The menu doesn't change often but the food is good and a bit different. The wines are reasonably priced - don't expect a lengthy list but what you get here is always good

I got a little lost while walking to the place from Old Vic but it is only just 5 minutes away if you cut across Webber Street (thanks to our server who gave us that tip after the meal). So it turned out to be...More

Sorry about the lateness of this response, only just seen it. This place is without doubt a romantic restaurant. The staff is fairly unobtrusive and you can disappear into your own bubble very easily.
