We arrived without booking (didn't know we had to book) but the staff kindly found us a table for 5. We ordered our food which was chicken chorizo paella and seafood paella and both dishes were amazing . We all had cocktails which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. However, after we'd finished eating nobody came to clear our plates and... More

Recommendation of a work colleague and superb! Buzzing atmosphere and excellent staff. Food was excellent. Recommend the tapas peppers and grilled squid. White Rioja was amazing and probably had a few too many. Table had a paella of chorizo and chicken and another of monk fish and prawn. Both superb but preference all round for the meat version. Finished off... More

This little Spanish restaurant tucked away off the major roads was a happy experience for us. We had a meal of tapas: 6 for 3 of us was almost too much. The cheeses were excellent as were the cured meats. I enjoyed the asparagus dish especially. The skewered chicken was also very tasty.

Everything we had was yummy. I'm gonna highlight the blood pudding with crunchy smoked crumbs, The albondighas - lamb meatballs in tomato sauce, and The salt cod fritters in aioli The waitress found us a light sweet wine which was gorj. Top lunch! A little pricey, I guess. But worth it, I reckon.

I'm sorry but my party of 4 did not enjoy our meal there. The restaurant does not have a particularly pleasant ambiance. It was not a busy evening yet service was slow throughout. Our 11 tapas dishes arrived over quite an extended period of time, hence we had no vegetables left when our prawns & chicken arrived. Most of the... More

Fantastic Spanish Restaurant in the heart of Bloomsbury. Just round the corner from where we live. Have visited several times now and tonight's experience was typical; lovely food, nice ambience and friendly staff at a reasonable cost. We really should go more often absolutely fantastic and the chicken liver was to die for. Could not recommend it more highly.

Came here with some friends looking to catch up after a long time. Good start - we ordered a bottle of prosecco. We had some olives but they tasted like cleaning product so we sent them back. We had the pan al tomate and the pimientos al padrón which were so delicious we ordered a second round of each. We... More

What do you want a chain Spanish restaurants? or do want the real thing? Its not a pretty place its got lots of glass, shop front kind of place but once you're in you know you're in a Spanish place. The food is amazing the staff are frequently Spanish (take the hint). I love Tapas and Paella and this place... More

Having been to this restaurant on a number of occasions my expectations were high but once again we weren't disappointed. With a crisp dry white we began with cheese and Serrano ham , then cod with garlic, squid with chillies, fried potatoes, spinach , sultanas and pine nuts and meat balls in tomato sauce - all wow ! Then wonderful... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
