I only stopped here for a beer whilst waiting for a friend and managed to catch a great sunset. It irked me that I simply ordered a bottle of beer and the bartender ensured that my change (from a 20 pound note) was mainly in coins and his finger-work indicated that I should be leaving a nice tip for him.... We returned to this old haunt after several years absence. It is one of several ex-Conran now D&D restaurants on the wharf and they were all extremely good. Well standards haven't slipped and the place and its set menus still represent decent quality at reasonable prices. And there's the view from their terrace outside.....

We invited some friends who had come over from Germany for a memorable dinner. The wine was excellent, but we had expected imaginative food with a British twist. Starters were nice, but the mains were merely ok. Two of us had a smoked pork chop which was very salty and very dry. We did not raise it with the staff... More

Chop house Is situated on a delightful area on south bank , very close to tower bridge. Warm greeting on arrival and staff friendly and efficient throughout. Lovely unhurried lunch in busy top end bisteo style environment. Definately worth a visit.

Went to this restaurant one evening whilst out for a walk and well its was brilliant. The food although some may deem expensive i thought was well worth it. The service was second to none and we have been back several times without disappointment.

This is an amazing dinner location, by the river, 200 metres away from tower bridge, the food is excellent once served, although a new employee with not much knowledge of the menu. When served the order was wrong. Disappointing service but the food makes up for the mistakes. I have been here a few times and normally service is correct... More

My wife had visited here last year and thought it was lovely and that I would enjoy both the food and atmosphere on top of the great views of Tower Bridge. How right she was, and how kind of the staff to give us a glass of champagne each to celebrate. Lunch was a set 2 or 3 courses we... More

Essentially a bistro type food experience, do not expect silver service. It is loud, brash and busy with a good atmosphere, however the poor waiting staff were so busy, you do not receive attentive service and you find yourself looking for waiting staff. I had the steak, which was really good, but I wanted some mustard with it; short of... More

Visited yesterday for the first time for and early Mother's Day lunch. We all chose to go for the Sunday Roast from the set menu, 2 had beef and 2 shared the lamb. Meat was lovely, service great, atmosphere and location very good BUT a very miserly selection and portion of vegetables to go with the meat (the lamb would... More

Description
We pride ourselves on serving modern British food that is locally sourced. Being located along London's riverside we have all kinds of amazing suppliers at our finger tips with the likes of Cannon and Cannon from Borough Market bringing you the best in British charcuterie and grass-fed Spey side Angus X steaks, our restaurant is brimming with quality ingredients. As well as meat we like to think our fish & seafood is pretty good too, with Foreman's smoked salmon, Carlingford Rocks Oysters and sumptuous lobster. Soak up magnificent views across to Tower Bridge and beyond, we like to think this it is the perfect place to come and sample one of our craft ale's or peruse our extensive gin list. The Chop House bar has a relaxed atmosphere adjacent to the main restaurant and is a great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat or to enjoy cocktails in a relaxed setting, overlooking Tower Bridge. Whether you're on a lunch break with colleagues or popping in at the weekend with family there is something for everybody's taste.
