Had a nice enough meal, but were forced to eat inside rather than outside where we preferred. Several first choice meal options were not available, and the service while okay was inattentive. The wine was average...More

I visited Browns for the first time in March. It wasnt bad but wouldn't go back in a hurry. Lobster was very small for the price although I did enjoy the cocktails.

Brown's outdoor terrace was an excellent place to eat on a hot evening even if it is surrounded by tall buildings, so not quite a gracious as it sounds. They serve classic British food with an extra seasonal menu and I was well pleased with...More

This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant, and I was not disappointed. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the food absolutely delicious. The restaurant is not expensive, I would highly recommend it.

Description
West India Quay is a thriving part of London in the heart of the Docklands. The Browns building was once a sugar warehouse, built in the early 19th century by Napoleonic prisoners of war. It has a truly distinctive atmosphere and a lovely external seating area overlooking the dock. The site is spread over two floors with a large front external terrace and lower ground floor bar garden. Come and enjoy our innovative take on classic dishes, or join us for one of our legendary cocktails in the heart of the Docklands.
