And once again the BB shows that Taj group´s hospitality business is worth value for money. BB is my favorite in London for very good and authentic Indian food. Fabulous atmosphere. Very attentiv staff. High quality food. Not cheap, but you are in London and...More

We used to come here frequently. Sunday brunch and lunch was the time to be here. You are certainly paying for the name rather than the quality. The prices on the wine list are eye watering. You really need to think about sharing dishes rather...More

A very authentic Indian restaurant in a very desirable location. Large clean facility with excellent Indian food. Great bar and wine selection. The facility is designed to cater to large groups and is designed for large receptions in a separate area under a glass roof....More

I returned to the delightful Bombay Brasserie for the first time in 23 years with my wife and a close friend - hoping that the excellent standards I used to enjoy there in the 1990s had been maintained. They had. The three of us had...More

Very pricey. Food was delicious. We made the mistake of ordering the one price meal that included many different types of food. There were only two of us and it was way too much food. Next time I'd just choose one dish.

Great place for a romantic night out eating contemporary Indian food at a reasonable price. Interesting menu and the Pinot Nero "fat bastard" red wine is just a blow away

When we entered the restaurant at about 1pm, I was a little concerned as it appeared almost empty, however other diners soon arrived and I quickly realised that we had made a wise choice. The food and service were both excellent. The menu is not...More

Up market Indian restaurant serving delicious traditional Indian foods. Brilliant ambience and very airy and comfortable. Two large dinning rooms and a bar / lounge area. A must have is the Cobra Coffee which will be served in the lounge.

Upon a recommendation from family who lived in London, we chose Bombay Brasserie for dinner our first night in London. We reserved in advance for a party of 5. To our great pleasure we were seated at a round table that made conversations between us...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

What do you consider expensive? It's very good and it is London so it ain't cheap, as a treat if you want to experience a high quality curry in a great atmosphere it is worth it.

I don't think they state that it's halal- but call them. Personally I think they must have rated themselves as "one of the best Indian restaurants in Britain". In my experience they come nowhere near. They probably claim... More

Opening in 1982, Bombay Brasserie was in the vanguard of modern Indian cuisine, with an inventive approach that married classic regional cooking with a European brasserie-style menu. The spacious interior, with its airy conservatory and bright murals, extends to a welcoming bar and a more traditional dining room well suited to the affluent Kensington clientele.
