Had to visit Hatton Garden so could not resist going to one of my favourite lunchtime haunts. Was not surprised to receive the perfect attentive staff, and glorious food.

I arrived early after a stressful day at work, the restaurant staff kindly welcomed me to my table with a glass of wine and immediately set the tone for a pleasant evening. I had smoked salmon with crab and parsley sauce (fresh, zinging and beautifully balanced) venison with roasted chicory and elderberry sauce (lovely contrasting textures and a beautiful deep... More

We had a lovely meal and a great evening. Very attentive staff made the experience a great one to remember. In addition the restaurant is a lovely old building that added to the atmosphere.

Had a great "holiday party" lunch for our team here! It was very well organised, with great service & very well prepared food. This was my first time visiting the restaurant and it left a great impression. I will definitely go again

Came here on recommendation of a friend and so glad we did! The location is somewhere I have never noticed before and is so hidden and quaint. The ambience of the restaurant is really intimate. The service was great and attentive but most of all the food was fabulous, portions were generous and delicious. Compliments to the Chef Julian Marshall!

We were a a party of visiting just before Christmas. The restaurant has a cosy, old book club atmosphere enhanced by the heavy wooden beams that give good acoustics. The food is very good, mainly French inspired. I was impressed by the freshness of the salads and vegetables. The head chef, has an eye for detail. The meat and fish... More

We had dinner here recently after an absence of several years. The food is very good - classically themed and beautifully prepared - and service is warmly professional. The winelist is extensive, the cheese trolley a delight. What makes the place special is its atmosphere: it is the polar opposite of the cool modernism that characterises many London establishments and... More

This was our third visit. I booked on-line which was easy and efficient. Warm welcome at the door although we were a shade early for our 1200 lunch booking and conducted to a nice table in the depths of the establishment. The room was warm and cosy on what was a very cold day outside. We chose from the a... More

We went on a deal and the food and staff were fantastic. The decor isn't to my taste (quite dark and underground) but very comfortable and cosy.

Description
Described by Square Meal as "arguably the finest French restaurant in the City", the Bleeding Heart Restaurant offers modern French food, impeccable service, an award-winning "encyclopaedic" wine list and above all a uniquely welcoming ambiance in a wonderfully historic setting. The perfect Venue for a business lunch or dinner, the warm, wood-panelled Restaurant is also an ideal setting for a romantic "diner a deux": indeed it was voted by "The Times" as the City's most romantic restaurant.
