The food and the wine list were excellent, but at time the service was a little slow. Our waiter appeared to be distracted.

Visit annually for dinner with friends after an AGM nearby. Conveniently located off the main drag, between Jermyn St and St James Sq. This year was the best meal so far! Consistently good dishes endorsed by our group were Crab Linguini, Carpaccio, Liver, all our...More

We stumbled across this place, both really fancying a nice bowl of comfort food as it was freezing outside. I have had some terrible Italian food in London previously, particularly near the theatre district where I think restaurants churn out rubbish food knowing they will...More

This is slightly off the beaten track, between Jermyn Street and St James Square but worth finding if you are looking for better than average Italian around the St James area. It is a short walk from Piccadilly and Haymarket. Comfy place with good food...More

This is a classy Italian restaurant offering great value for its location. Classic Italian with a modern twist. I entertain friends here when in London and it must hit the spot as they add it to their repertoire of restaurants.

Very professional and helpful service. Menu is refined regularly; the days specials are often wonderful. Wine list is in continuous state of improvement; have found two new charming wines since I last visited. Very convenient, but quiet location.

Close to Picadilly circus. Warm welcome, very good service. A real italian cuisine (there is no pizza!). Pastas are homemade, sauces and gravy as well. Delicate italian cuisine really, 120£ for 5. Not cheap but still affordable for fairly high quality level. You have to...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing

As far as I know they do not offer Children's menu but no doubt one can ask for sharing plates or half/appetizer portions. Hope you will enjoy.

"Opened by leading restaurateur Claudio Pulze in 1999, Al Duca remains one of the most popular eateries in the chic St James' area. Located between Piccadilly Circus and Green Park; this authentic Italian restaurant is ideal for business lunches, pre-theatre dinners and full-on feasts for the whole family. The interior is a comfortably stylish mix of light wood, crisp white linen and wall-mounted wine racks; while the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. Al Duca's menu features classic dishes like beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan; roasted leg of rabbit with polenta; and delicious pastas like their homemade ravioli with pheasant and rosemary. For dessert, we recommend the vanilla pannacotta with a glass of something smooth from their extensive Italian wine list. "
