It's a small atmospheric restaurant near Ravenscourt Park. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The menu is simple & the food was well presented, tasted very fresh & flavoursome. The owner is a gregarious & fun character who's very friendly & extremely hospitable. This is a great neighbourhood restaurant.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff are very attentive, and the food is very good. It felt like I was in north Africa - I would definitely recommend this place.

We booked on a whim at the last-minute and were lucky enough to get what seemed to be the last available table last Saturday evening. We were made very welcome by the owner and our waiter. We shared Bourek and the spicy prawns between the three of us which were very tasty. For our main courses two of us had... More

A friend recommended the restaurant to my husband who then booked a table as a Valentine's surprise. We both fell in love with Azou and understand while our friend visits every six weeks or so. The food was superb; the prawns were probably twice the size of any others I've ever eaten and the lamb shank just felt to pieces... More

Loved the experience at Azou tonight (13/02/2017). The ambience is great and the service was brilliant. Food was simply superb. We had a a few customisation requests and everything was done perfectly. The menu is not huge but satisfactory. The vegetarian options could have been more but I suppose you can ask it to be customised if you are a... More

Went here for a birthday, and basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves as it was a weekday. Really friendly staff. with good recommendations. All the food was delicious, but the hummus was out of this world!! The portions were massive though, and we had to take some home for lunch :) Amazing evening, thank you Chris and everyone :)... I frequent this place as it has become a comfort. The food is just perfect and the service is brilliant. Friendly staff, not intrusive. Definitely my first port of call for authentic Moroccan cuisine.

Good Food and good fun. Well priced and authentic. It's fun and doesn't take itself so seriously: a lovely antidote to pretentiousness!

I visited Azou on the 30th December with my husband for dinner. Being Moroccan, I know what good Moroccan food should taste like, and have often found that restaurants offering such cuisine have fallen short of my expectations. I booked a table at Azou on a whim, not having had any personal recommendations for it. I'm so pleased I did,... More

A tiny place among a dazzling array of restaurants on the stretch out of Hammersmith, Azou is fairly pricey but serves up some good food. We had Briouat (goats cheese and brie-stuffed pastries) and Chakchouka (warm salad of tomatoes, spicy sausage and other wonders) to start. Both were excellent and flavoursome. We also got some olives, which were an extra... More

Azou is one of the most inviting restaurants on Chiswick's King Street. Marking it out most is the high-quality North African food offering fine flavours from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The menu reflects the huge variety of dishes from North Africa - from delicious salads, kemia (mezze) & pastries to couscous and tajines (meat, fish & vegetarian). Choose from classic dishes, or Azou's own, which incorporate traditional and contemporary influences. The focus is on well-sourced and freshly cooked ingredients. Azou has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere decorated with crafts and artefacts from the Maghreb.
