If your a bit fed up with the Urban Struggle and are tired and just need to unwind, the Auberge is the place to be. Friendly staff who have got time to have a short chat and a laugh (what a refreshing change that is!)....More

On my last unfortunate visit to Auberge the ladies' loos were out of order, as was one of the cubicles in the gents. Really they should have shut the place until that particular stunningly inept failure to operate a restaurant and bar had been resolved...More

Dear glutton4nourishment Apologies that there was an issue on a previous visit with the toilets but i am afraid that this was completely out of our control and these were back in action as soon as was possible . I am disappointed that you say...More

This spacious venue on two floors is on a side street just opposite Waterloo Station. Places on the main road tend to be frantic and very noisy. Fewer people stumble on this, and it has a laid back bistro atmosphere. You can order food at...More

A girlfriend and I visited, and I can honestly say this was the best lunch I have had in a long time; the food (we both opted for the crab tartare with avocado) was better than we could have imagined. However, only four stars because...More

Had lovely salad, was really nice. Service was great and prices reasonable. Really handy for Waterloo Station too and far better than some of the cafes around there.

The bar is a disappointment with shabby tables and a vast high ceiling that makes the place harshly loud and soulless. Upstairs the restaurant is a little better but it's too bright and has the same shabby furniture so it's definitely not somewhere to take...More
