Loved seeing the cats and playing with the ones that wanted to play, but as someone who has been around cats for over 50 years, I found it very condescending to be told how to use a cat toy. I understand the staff know their...cats and what they like, but I was quite happy with what I was doing and the reaction of the cat. I did not like the smartphone ordering system, it took forever and in my opinion I felt for what you get the food and drinks were overpriced. My first trip a couple of years ago was brilliant, but after this one I won’t be going back.More

Worth the £15 entry fee to support this marvelous cafe and cat sanctuary. Chatty informative staff and lovely looking food. But more importantly gorgeous, friendly cats, and plenty of them. The 90 mins flew by as we watched, stroked and played with these adorable fur...balls in their marvelous 2 story play ground.More

we had such a lovely time! Lots of cats, my heart was stolen by Tate and HP! My friend ordered a panini and it came quickly and looked (and apparently tasted) great! The cats seem very well kept and looked after. A couple of the...kittens had been newly spayed which is brilliant. Lucy sat and served us - she explained the adoption process and was just generally lovely. Unfortunately we’re only on a weekend visit otherwise we’d be in far more regularly!More

My friends bought me a retirement gift of afternoon tea at Lady Dinah's. I had to cancel my trip - twice - due to lockdowns. I finally made it there on 9th September. It was worth the wait. The food was lovely, in fact there...was so much me and my friend had to ask for a catty-bag to take the surplus home with us. The cakes were just wonderful, all fresh, all individual. Beautifully presented. Fragrant and tasty in in proper cups. The staff could not have been nicer! Kind, attentive, knowledgeable, polite and so helpful. The cats were great. They were obviously very happy, relaxed, and doing what they wanted to do rather than performing for the humans - exactly as it should be. It isn't a circus after all. These are lovely cats who have not had the most fortunate of starts in life, and are being given a second chance at a forever home where they will be safe and loved. The ethos of Lady Dinah's is wonderful. The staff live and breathe it. I will go again. It was magical.More

Visited today and was amazed with how good it was. The cats were mainly kittens (oldest 3) so were all very playful and most of them were awake during the entire visit. The workers were really friendly and told us info about the cats etc...and encouraged us to play with them. Had a toastie which was also yummy and an iced tea which was too. Great!! Can’t wait to go again!More

Tricky to review this place as its such a mixed bag. Clearly it’s designed for cat lovers and it ticks that box. There were 13 cats there on our visit, although, of course, the rules require no touching of cats that are asleep so in...reality there may only be a couple to pet. The cream tea was average. The environment is somewhat sparse and odd. Designed, understandably, with cats in mind, but somehow it feels rather cobbled together. The cost is the trickiest of all aspects to evaluate, it’s £15 per person to go in for 90 minutes plus whatever you have to eat/drink. So for our family of four it was over £100 and the children (who must be 12+) only had a panini each. While appreciating such a place is going to charge a premium it’s hard to accept that £100+ is justified. Perhaps the introduction of a family ticket might be considered?More

We visited for afternoon tea, with prosecco, and what a lovely time we had! The cats are delightful and the staff so welcoming. I loved it how the cats just play and roam around. We will be back.

I have wanted to visit Lady Dinah’s for years. I went here for my Birthday, but it was far from what I expected. When we were lead into the cafe, we were hit by an instant stench. I appreciate having cats myself, that it doesn’t...take much for things to smell. However, I think I would expect far more cleaning to be going on. There were many cats in the cafe, mainly kittens and it appears they only stay for a few years. When I asked about the cats, it appears a lot eventually get re-homed. I was glad to hear this, as not sure this environment is fair for a cat on a permanent basis. I was surprised that the upstairs room and basement had no natural light. I would like to have seen a larger area for the cats to run around in, although it was good to see multiple shelves and climbing frames. I would not rush back here, although I love cats dearly. The cafe is not what I expected and not in the best area. Sending love to all the resident cats though, was nice to pat and play with most of them.More

Hi there, we don't have any high chairs for babies as we have a minimum age requirement of 12 years old, therefore we wouldn't be able to admit any child under that age, including infants. Our seating is booth seating with... More

Sorry not to reply sooner but it is not the sort of place that plug sockets are evident but the upstairs area would possibly have some but not many cats to play with.
