Visited again in October 2021 as had a birthday voucher for Prosecco Afternoon Tea for 2. Had made a confirmed booking for 4.30 which had specified it was my birthday treat. Not one member of staff acknowledged this. A bit disappointing but wasn't too bothered....My husband doesn't drink tea so chose to have a coffee instead. I said I would like a still water INSTEAD of a tea which I assumed would be free. We found the staff to be rather inattentive on this occasion which was disappointing as previously the service has been better. Twice my husband had to go to the bar to order me a cocktail - the staff at the bar were rather surprised that hubby went up and took several empty glasses up with him as there seemed to be enough staff on duty. Even customers on the surrounding tables by us were making comments about how hard it was to catch anyone's eye to request food or drinks. To add insult to injury, we were charged over £7 for service which I didn't spot at the time and £3.95 for a (small) bottle of still water. As we paid cash we told the waiter to keep the change from the £70 cash I handed over. Only later at home I spotted a service charge had been included which I obviously would have mentioned at the time "What service?" to get it removed. The afternoon tea experience itself was nice enough although when we asked one of the female staff (when we managed to actually get her attention) to bring over some extra clotted cream, she didn't bother bringing any so we had to ask another waitress about 15 minutes later. It was a very disappointing visit this time. I would add here that it was the female staff members who were not up to par on this visit, the the 2 male staff members we encountered during the visit were better/friendly/polite at least.More

Popped in here for a drink and snack and loved it. The cakes are divine and my friend’s eggs Benedict looked delish. Service was excellent, very friendly waiter. Would definitely go back.

Garden Brunch Beans and roasted tomato were microwaved. Tomato was leaking water in the plate like it was in high tide. Avocado completely soft to a sell by date. Farm eggs?!? More like factory eggs, sorry. Very pale yellow and no taste. Also they seemed...to be kept cooked already and not fried at request. Green leafs?!? Again.. straight from a desert.. dry, dull .. again. Typically sell by date. Now, I do like by products that expire on the same day because they still are good most times. And therefore, I did have my breakfast as I needed something to eat. But for £45 for two?! Not here again.More

Called in for a coffee and cake before an appointment in Westfield Centre. Staff nice and friendly and we loved the masks they wore. The choice of croissants and cakes was a little limited which we were surprised at as it was only 10ish in...a morning, however we all managed to get a bite to eat and either/tea or coffee. Coffee in a large mug was tasty and the tea was served in individual pots which was nice.More

Do not visit if you are in a hurry! Wait to be seated, wait for a menu and wait for your food! First our booking for 12pm was not recognised, then we established how poor the service is. Three quarter of an hour from being...shown a table until our meal finally arrived. They seem understaffed and untrained with those known to the manager receiving preferential treatment. When we queried the waitress about our food we were told that we should have told her we are ready for our meal. First ever in a restaurant! Also how could we if they were not even around! All we got from the manger was Oh sorry AvoidMore

Inattentive service. Had a booking for two; waited to be seated but no one came to us, so had to walk in after a while to grab a waiter’s attention. Average food. Salmon steak and beef burger both unimpressive. Awful drinks. Felt cheated paying £3.85...for mango juice which bartender poured from rubicon mango carton in front of us! Overall, got the sense that we were paying for the decor and grand seating, rather than the food and service.More

My family and I (four adults and two teenage boys) made a rare visit to London a couple of days ago to tour the former Olympic Stadium. Afterwards we decided to find somewhere for a meal and found the Caffe Concerto. I must confess that...we didn't look at the prices before entering. After reading the menu, we all found something to our individual tastes. The restaurant was not busy, but the service was poor. Based on the menu price, we all looked forward to the arrival of our food. Only one of us thought their food was good! I had the Seafood Risotto, which was very disappointing. What really stunned us was the prices: £4.20 for bottles of Sprite, Coke and Still Water.£15.95 for a Chicken Burger and £5.95 for a very small portion of French Fries. Only one meal was served hot, the others were only warm. To add insult to injury there was a service charge of 12.5%. Considering that only five of us had a meal and a soft drink the final bill was £126.62. I've read other recent appraisals of this restaurant, a few of which of which give a high rating. I'm glad that we only rarely visit London. I feel sorry for those that live there.More

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The tables were social distanced. Food was hot and well presented. Although the host was wearing a mask the young lady who served our lunch was not. As this was one of our first visits out was slightly worrying....I really do feel serving staff should wear masks.More

We called in for Ice Cream. Confusing start was told by greeter it was possible then by server that it wasnt....in the end it was served. Ice cream is of cheap quality as is cream squirted on the top. I'm amazed at how many staff...are ill, at least four were wearing mask exempt lanyards, maybe they should be at home recovering illnesses. This notion of 12.5 % added automatically is annoying, I always leave a good tip but today's service was not exceptional.More

We last visited Caffe Concerto in Westfields for my birthday in September 2021 and had such a lovely time, we decided to pop in for drinks and nibbles on Saturday afternoon after a shopping jaunt in The Village. Definitely a good plan as we had...a lovely time. We asked to be seated outside the main restaurant as we enjoy the view. The services was exceptional by most members of staff that we encountered (bar one who just didn't seem to want to smile) and they couldn't do enough to make our experience a good one. We had an assortment of dishes including fried calamari, breaded king prawns, Italian Bread Basket, Bread And Olives and I also had some delightful jam and scones. We also had the Fritto Misto Tower which sadly was presented on a plate rather than the tower we were expecting. All went down well regardless! Along with these we had a lovely bottle of Merlot and Prosecco. We spent a lovely few hours here and will definitely pop in again next time we're in Westfields. Thank you again for a lovely experience.More
