Another vey nice visit to one of our favourite pubs that delivers a super relaxed atmosphere combined with the possibility of healthy food and doing actual work (wifi is perfect) The fact that visitors bring their dogs gives it an extraordinary country side feeling 20 min from Waterloo Station!

I have been to the Telegraph several times. Lovely location and very decent food. Today was a total disaster. We were asked to wait ten minutes for a table. Ok so far. Then we ordered. No chicken we were told. Fine, but then why don't you say it when you bring the menu? Just in case we would not notice... More

Dear Paul A I can only apologise for your experience yesterday. We were very busy at the time you were with us - and a clearer message from us when you arrived would have served you much better. We try to look after everyone who wants to dine with us, including those who have not booked, but we clearly got... More

This was the first pub I worked in as a barmaid, back when the world was in black and white. I had my wedding reception here and later my husband's wake. I've seen management come and go, some good, some bad, some indifferent. I had lunch here a few months ago with a very good friend, the staff were polte... More

My husband and I stopped at this lovely pub on Putney Heath on Saturday after walking out dog locally. It was a fabulous afternoon! Unseasonably mild so we sat outside and enjoyed a pre lunch drink (husband said the ale was perfect btw). We then went inside the cost bar area and enjoyed a delightful pate to start followed by... I don't have the habit of leaving reviews but there is a first time for everything. yesterday evening my wife and I finally caught up with some friend in Putney and they proposed to meet us at the telegraph because of its location off the A3. What was originally a few drinks turned out in a full evening out. As... More

Had a great anniversary party planned for my parents here! We had been looking for a venue large enough that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This was the perfect solution that provided us privacy, a beautifully decorated venue and a nice selection of buffet choices. All our friends and family were impressed by the attentive service and abundant... More

A popular pub, billed as A Country Pub in London. Have dined there a few time before & always found the food good. Today ordered a BLT - it arrived with the bread un-toasted containing lettuce & bacon; no mayonnaise etc, but bottles of same & ketchup were placed on the table, I assume for a D.I.Y. effort. It was... More

Had a brilliant lunch today, as always. Such a great pub with tons of space, friendly staff and super food. Can't wait for the summer to enjoy the garden which is also terrific. Highly recommended

We are the country pub in London. A mere 10 minutes walk from Putney High Street you will find us tucked away on the Heath. Serving food through out the day with a British menu in our bar, restaurant & large garden and a bar with 8 ale pumps on the go we have something for all.

We are a family friendly business with room for the dog as well! Plenty of parking space around and free wifi throughout the building.
