I am so sorry to have to give a negative review of an independent local pub, but the experience we had this afternoon was baffling. We ordered two meals - one roast pork and one cheeseburger (the chef kindly agreed to my having something from the regular weekday menu). Unfortunately, when our meals arrived, they were cold - not just... More

Tapping the Admiral is one of my favourite pubs in Camden. It always has a great selection of craft beer. And the pub cat Nelson is a legend.

A few of us met here for a Saturday lunch time meal and a catch up. The tables were of a good size to do this and we picked one near to an open fire. However there had been some issue with the radiators/heating and for the time we were there the pub was freezing and the heat from the... More

I tried calling the pub twice to make a reservation, once at 1130 and then again at 1150. Firstly, the lady was unable to "find the diary" and requested that I call back in 20mins. The second call was equally unsuccessful, the gent told me to call back in ten minutes as he was busy preparing to open. I would... More

Amazing cosy atmosphere. Had red wine at the bar and joined in the pub quiz. Lively yet not loud. The perfect atmosphere!

Always come here with my dad. Lovely staff, good atmosphere. Food can be up and down depending on what chef they have, usually a good roast though. Lovely locals and nice pub cat.

I booked a table for 20 chums to celebrate my birthday and had a grand time! The pub is tucked away From Kentish Town and offers a great selection of well kept ales and ciders as well as good range of spirits and soft drinks. Staff were very friendly and the pub was cosy and inviting and also had a... More

I come here once or twice a month to join friends after work and it has friendly bustling atmosphere with what appears, plenty of regulars. They have a massive array of hand pumped beers, lagers, ciders etc, always with a good varying choice. To be able to have so many pumps in use at any one time proves their regulars... More

Just moved to the area and what a wonderful pub to have as our local. First evening we walked in to be confronted with no fewer than 8 exquisite beers, and on our return 2 nights later we found a whole new set to try! The many regulars and the staff couldn't be friendlier, surprising so close to both Camden... More
