The Nightjar was the last perfect stop on our night out in London! I was pleasantly surprised at the perfect cocktails and entertaining decor. The service and company were great. I would visit again!

Great cocktail bar and music. The staff are super friendly. I can see why they are so strict leaving people in, it's such a great spot. Oh and be careful though, the cocktails will creep up on you lol they are not short of alcohol.

I definately expected better customer service considering the prices and hype. I arrived with no reservation and was asked by the lady on the door to wait at the top of the stairs while she spoke into her walkie talkie to see if there was any space in the bar downstairs. While I was waiting a happy, laughing group arrived... More

The nicest staff, the coolest drinks, the greatest music. Honestly, one of the most amazing places to go in London. Every person there was treated wonderfully by staff members, I was made to feel welcome from the moment of entrance. The drinks were very unique and when one of our orders took far longer to make than expected, we were... More

The Nightjar is a one-of-a-kind venue. As you walk through an unsuspecting brown door you are taken back in time, to a swing and jazz 1920s ambience. Perfect for a quiet night with friends or for a date. Every cocktail served was downright delicious. Cannot fault it.

Delicious, inventive cocktails, friendly staff, wonderful jazz that's different every night. Have visited the night jar a few times now and have never been disappointed. The bar staff make your drinks with mesmerizing theatrics, it's a pleasure to watch if you're seated in the right area. I highly recommend booking ahead of time to avoid long queues.

We had probably the best cocktails of our life. Exceptional service and excellent live music stage. This is why Nightjar is among the best bars in the world. Definitely a must.

I booked a table here for my partner's mom's birthday and she LOVED it. We all did. The cocktails are unique and hand-crafted. The entire bar feels exclusive without feeling out of touch, its vintage without feeling cheesy and its cocktails are hand-crafted with quality service. Book a table for 21:00 or later to listen to live music. The acts... More

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
