Fairly straightforward and timeless locale. Good pie, good mash, good tea, good beer, good service, good prices. What more could you want from this charming dark green shop just off Greenwich Market? Take a few pies to eat in the park or find a spot...More

This is the best Pie and Mash in London, and the best price. And also the best builders tea. In fact I could demolish a couple of pies right now just thinking about it. Pie perfection, you would be mad not to. Everytime we go...More

Can not say enough about this place. Great pie and mash with traditional liquor rather than gravy. Great staff and a good price for london. £4:30. Plenty.

I saw the reviews on this place a while back, so when I finally got round to visiting Greenwich, this was on the agenda for lunch. Both my partner and I tried the mince meat pie with mash as we thought would be the most...More

Visited twice in one week, lovely and traditional pie & mash albeit had to have jellied eels the second time as they didn't have stewed. Not sure why certain P&M establishments in London only serve stewed eels at certain times...have 'em all the time! All-in-all...More

Very nice restaurant, good food, nice people and the prices are very low. Pie&mash only for 4.20£ and sticky toffee pudding with custard for 3.20£ and so so so delicious. The best restaurant in London.

Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the
very concept of global time was established at Royal
Observatory, just one of several buildings of
architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole
of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park
and a number of related buildings (and one world
famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World
Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a

Hi, Unfortunately we don't operate a bookings system. The busiest time at the weekend is 12pm-2pm so eating outside of these times makes finding a seat slightly easier.
Are the vegetarian pies also vegan (No egg, milk, butter, cheese)?

Goddards at Greenwich serves London's most traditional meal of pie mash and liquor. This meal can be traced back through the 1800's and is an important part of London's food history. We are open everyday serving handmade pies which are baked throughout the day. We are a family run business that has been serving pie and mash since 1890. Our air conditioned licensed restaurant can seat 100 people and we also offer desserts and cold drinks. We look forward to serving you London's most famous dish!
