Have been on a mission to try a few local London cake / dessert places. Cake Boy is a little out of the way nestled amongst new build flats. There is a car park nearby with free parking for a short time, but getting back in to the car park is a little bit of struggle as there is no... More

Great cakes and pastries in general, but quite expensive. There are loads of options, even some which are gluten free. Had a cheesecake which was quite nice.

I have returned to cake boy for my second visit, simply to try the lemon muffins! Didn't disappoint at all. The environment is very cool and current, even the toilets score high. One let down is the staff. Found service a bit cold, and then noticed one male making homophobic gestures to college about another customer. This I found disgusting.... More

Had champagne afternoon tea. Staff attentive and helpful. Sandwiches looked like they'd been made in advance and came with wilted leaves and dried edges. The cakes were inventive but very sickly and sweet. A chocolate cylinder was described as deconstructed apple pie but contained sweetened cream, chocolate mousse, apple and chocolate cornflake cake. Everything seemed to contain sweetened cream. Desserts... More

Great little coffee shop. This is my local and would choose it above all the large chains. Great for brunch also.

Favourite coffee shop - cakes look delightful but have yet to sample. I live within the vicinity and opt for Cake Boy as my no.1 coffee stop. Lovely views of the Thames too!
