Decorated like a thirties Moscow owned by your rich grandma. Great fun, food and service with hundreds of vodkas and beers. Lots of men taking out their nieces for lunch, how sweet. A little pricey.

Multiple visits to this truly fine, exceptional venue......everything - ALWAYS perfect - ranging from the charming Russian ladies, who quite openly state they find me 'very amusing' (Laughing 'with', and not 'at', and thus, I cannot say, I either blame them, nor disagree), and who...More

Mari Vanna is a nice Russian restaurant. The service is good, the venue pleasant with a very distinctive and charming touch. The herring in a shuba-coat is absolutely delicious, the Siberian dumplings and the baked chicken with herbs are well worth a try too !...More

Went there for an evening meal. The restaurant was packed but service - albeit a bit "cold" was correct. Reading the Menu might be a bit tricky but food was just excellent. I remember having eaten just as well in Russia itself, some years ago.

Disgusting food, rude staff, awkward interior design...and so expensive. Worst experience ever, please choose to stay at home if you are planning to dine at Mari Vanna...you are going to thank me.

A great experience and truly authentic Russian food. The atmosphere is unique and slightly quirky, being over the top "Russian Granny" done in good fun. Filled with mostly Russians the night I was there, which is a testament to the authenticity for the food. I...More

Following the success of Mari Vanna in St Petersburg, Moscow and New York the owner decided to open a location in London (Knightsbridge). The location itself is already worth the visit. Kitschy objects like a typical Russian house, with bookshelves, dolls, bears, photos of Russian...More

When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop,
they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined
tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And
when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already
got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the
perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion
walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the
ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this

There were a family with children in there when I went, so I don't see a problem. If unsure you should ring before you go.
