Pre theatre food and drinks, great halloumi and sweet potato burger and fries, with a decent range of ales, at a reasonable price. Plenty of tables and space.

Loved visiting here, used it as a place to grab tea during the break of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and we were glad we did, we took advantage of the three snacks for £15 offer as neither of us were hungry enough for a main meal, word of advice, order the nachos!

Lovely clean, nicely decorated pub. Didn't eat but the food we saw being served looked great. Menu choice fairly small but looked good. We had a cocktail and special gin and tonic - both lovely. Bar staff very friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit. We will certainly go again when up to see our next show.

Enjoyed a couple of lunch time drinks in this busy and well decorated pub. The roast dinners looked good proportions. The bar staff were efficient and friendly. Only issue is that although a large pub it doesn't seem to seat that many. We saw lots of people in large groups leaving because of this. Dogs and children allowed.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for your review. We can be limited for space upstairs sometimes but do also have a downstairs seating area if you ever need extra tables. Hope to see you again. More

We ate here before Aladdin as it is just around the corner (spotted it when we went to Harry Potter in November as it is next door). No childrens menu but she just shared ours. Fish and chips was lovely, as was the cherry crumble. Would recommend

Downstairs there is music everyday. They charged us 4 pounds each one. The day was folk music. Interesting bar.

Called in a couple of evenings before going to the theatre. Had the risotto which was delicious. Can also recommend the McMullins IPA. Always busy and staff friendly and helpful.

Great place to meet my mates. I drink lager and they can drink their real ales. Lovely staff. Wonderful background music. Real chill pub, with history. Shame they put a film on the Windows. Always liked to see who was walking on either side of the pub. Still good.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
