The service today at lunch was really poor, it was like being at Loch Fyne! The food when it came was all ok but for example the schnitzel was bland and unremarkable, really regretted not having something else. Trying to say something nice the apricot soufflé was very good and I'd definitely have that if we went there again. A... More

My girlfriend and I met with friends who live in England. They recommended this restaurant for brunch on Sunday. Loved it here, my experience was excellent. The service and ambience were perfect. I had the Eggs Benedict and loved them. One friend had the avocado, tomato and poached eggs. We were all chatting so much, I can't remember what everyone... More

2 couples had dinner at The Delaunay restaurant close to London Covent Garden and theatre district. Smart, traditional, classy restaurant with lovely subdued lighting. Excellent service ..mix of pre theatre crowd and tourists. The only downside is how expensive it is ...fish main course and beautiful small desert for £55. It's not the price but the paltry quantity.

I visited here with my 2 sisters for brunch. We were seated quite quickly, however, it went downhill from there. One of us received raw poached eggs with our meal and by the time the replacement had arrived myself and my other sister had finished. It took quite a bit of time to catch the attention of any of the... More

I ate here on Sunday 26 February. Normally I don't eat out Sundays when I have work on Monday but I was off this particular week. The theme of this place is old Austrian and they seem to have recreated it well. Now to the food... Yes it's not the cheapest around, but the quality more than makes up for... More

A very good restaurant. Scores highly on ambience - classy, tables well spaced, not noisy but a buzz. Very mixed clientele young, old, business and pleasure. Good food. Not too little and not too much and a high standard. Easy bus ride to Euston station. Walkable to Charing X.

Despite a small mix up about a reservation (my fault) we were seated quickly at a nice table in the center of the restaurant. The schnitzel was, according to one member of our party who lived for years in Munich, the best he had had in 20 years. Be warned that portions are generous! Service was attentive but not intrusive.... More

A friend highly recommended this restaurant so the two of us turned up without a booking on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was full, but they found room for us in the less formal area. The menu is broad in its choices: my friend had the kedgeree, which was simply delicious, and I opted for the Wurst mix: a thuringer... More

Sunday lunch after visiting the Sussex Modernism show at Two Temple Place. The decor is good replica Mitteleuropa and the service is efficient and friendly. For a restaurant as big as this, and in this location somewhat removed from the tourist trail, and on a wet winter weekend, to be almost full at that time is impressive. The food choice... More

Very much in the European Grand Café tradition, the menus range from breakfasts, brunch on Saturdays & Sundays, all-day snacks, coffees, afternoon teas, sandwiches, platters of crustacea, ice-cream coupes, patisserie and cakes, and a full à la carte, with a daily changing plat du jour and an extensive selection of schnitzels and Wieners.
