Very pleasant experience. I love PV particularly for it's coffee. I like my coffee smooth and rich and it doesn't fail. If you are a coffee fanatic then PV is the place to go! The surroundings are lovely, clean and peaceful, not too noisy, so you can sit and relax. The staff were polite and friendly yet non intrusive. Highly... More

I grab a hot drink every weekday morning from this café and always receive a warm and friendly welcome. The staff usually remember what I like to drink, which is great service for a busy London café. The cakes are also delicious, although my wife usually eats them before I get a look-in!

The coffees and ciabattas were fine but the service was glum all around and the toilet is seriously in need of refurbishment. Management needs to get a grip - this is supposed to be a premium brand.

Pâtisserie was usual high standard. Shame the staff were not. Waitress either didn't understand me or chose not to and was less than helpful. Fastest service was the bill!

We came here with a Groupon voucher for brunch and a hot drink. My OH isnt that keen on hot drinks so asked if he could swap it for a cheaper cold drink but they said no, I guess rules are rules! We both ordered the Full English fry up which was nice overall but my poached eggs were under... More

Normally I love patisserie Valerie, but the service at this one left a lot to be desired. We waited ages to be even acknowledged by the waitress and then a long time to get our food.

An amazing array of gateaux beautifully decorated and wonderful to look at-and am sure they tasted as good as they look. We were merely having coffee prior to catching a train, so I chose pain au chocolat. The first time I have eaten this cold, though was not asked my preference by the fairly grumpy server. Attempting to cut a... More

Popped in on Saturday 11th February for a cake and coffee sat down at around 5pm. A member of staff said are you on your own, move over there to a small table then. I would if done this if the tables were cleaned and not fully of dirty plates etc, she was very loud and everyone just looked at... More

Brief lunch with colleagues for my birthday. The cafe' was a bit empty for that time on a weekday (2-3 tables occupied) so we could pick a table; oddly on a winter day a window was open in the back of the bakery. Service was ok: 10-15 minutes to prepare an eggs&salmon plate and two grills (a savoury croissant and... More
