My boyfriend took me to Bonne Bouche 5 year ago and we return maybe 3 times a year. We ALWAYS order the same thing: Chicken Milanese for him and Carbonara for me. It is the best Carbonara I've had so far and I always order this dish when I go to an italian restaurant. I wish they could close a... More

whenever one of my friends asks . "where shall we meet?" during the day this is the spot. The owner smiles and wishes you a great "Hi, how are you !" of course this is just the way it is when the owner is in any restaurant. But Bonne Bouche is like that little cafe in Montmartre where one knows... More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and came across this place for breakfast. I had the scrambled eggs with crispy bacon which were both good, the white toast was fantastic though - thick, hot and buttered. OH had the duck eggs with potato rosti and enjoyed them. I'm not sure that there are many places in London where you... More

Nice family restaurant . Quick and good food. Portions could be a bit too big. Nice place for quick bite

Bonne Bouche (Good Taste) lives up to its name and the best breakfast of any that we've had in London. They know exactly how to do it! It is now located at 3 George Street, just down from Durrants Hotel and St. James Church. The service is great, people are friendly and the food can't be beat. We also enjoy... More

I love having breakfast at Bonne Bouche. Nice people, great menu, speedy service, very clean, good mix of locals and visitors. Although there are other outlets, this feels like a real neighborhood place rather than an impersonal chain. Definitely try the English breakfast, the fruit with yogurt, or my personal favorite, a plateful of buttered granary toast!

Popped in here for a late light lunch after visiting the Wallace Collection. Two of us had a pasta dish, the third a mozzarella based ciabatta. Vey tasty, served quickly with a smile. Good value as well.

I much prefer the food quality than the chain French restaurants such a cafe rouge. My wife enjoyed a lovely asparagus quiche with salad and I had Croque madame. I would definitely go again.

This is a very good place if you are hungry and eating on a budget. We come here regularly when we are in Marylebone at the weekends and it is just perfect for what we want. The food is very good and plenty of it, the coffee and cakes are nice and service is efficient. This is a no frills... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
