Came here before a trip to the theatre for my birthday. Lovely funky vibe tho not full on a Wednesday lunchtime obviously! Chose some guacamole and tortilla chips to start, a few street lunch type 'tapas ' style small dishes, and slightly larger small wraps/quesadillas....More

A group of 11 of us went to Wahaca last night. To their credit, the service was friendly and quick, and the menu has a wide range of Mexican (or nearly Mexican) favourites to cater for everybody. It's a real pity then that things soon...More

I LOVE Wahaca. Every meal I've eaten here (and at the Southbank location) has been fantastic. The food is fresh, delicious, and very authentic - the only 'chain' restaurant where I've seen real masa harina corn tortillas. The new devon crab tostadas was amazing. Plenty...More

I dropped in here for a quick meal, and they provided a friendly welcome, instant service, tasty food and a good atmosphere. The restaurant was surprisingly empty - perhaps just because the main holiday season is over. I'm not an expert on Mexican food, but...More

Came here pre-theatre for some delicious Mexican food! The guacamole and tortillas are particularly good. The vegan option, sweet potato burrito, is not on the main menu but is absolutely delicious and packed full of flavour. Really enjoyed the dairy free hot chocolate shot too....More

My sister and I are here last night before watching a show, we love Wahaca! The Steak Tortilla bowl salad is the best. The burritos are lush, the Chelada beer (beer with salt rimmed glass and lime juice) is amazing! And of course how can't...More

I've been to Wahaca many times since it opened in London and its always consistently good. Although the menu has become more adventurous over the years, they've kept the signature dishes and stayed true to their ethical and freshly made food, roots. Tacos are fantastic...More

Hi Lynda - definitely! You can see our gluten advice menu on our website, and our team can advise on lactose on the day. Often this just requires removing a cheese or crema garnish. Hope we'll see you soon.

The original and still the best! As popular now as the day it opened, Wahaca Covent Garden collides the heat of the Mexican market with all the coolness of London's trendy West End, in an explosion of colour, texture and noise. Enjoy the funky music and lively surroundings in the bar while you wait to be seated.
