While the wines we had were really nice, the service was average. The food was okay, although the portions were not very generous. My dish was forgotten about and as a courtesy it was taken off the bill, which was nice of them. The waitress even offered me complimentary breads and almonds. I think this place is nice visited as... More

Had dinner last night w/ two guests. Overall we were very happy with the wine and food recommendations (the lamb was really good). I thought the service was very warm and friendly. Reasonably priced for London. Will definitely return.

What happened to this restaurant!! Only a three course menu available on Sunday....No Sunday roast yet it was advertised.....haphazard service....... this used to be a great restaurant but over the years it has gone down the pan......The owners should stop by on a Sunday to see for themselves. Disappointed will never ever return to many options on the street now.

I've been living in this area for 2 years and I never tried this restaurant before. Delicious food, great wines especially on wine by glass with so much different style to try and a such cosy atmosphere. Want already come back. Service to attentive.

What a gem Vinoteca is, understated in its awareness but confident and strong in their menu, both food and wine (I will mention the staff in a minute!) I've been to a number of branches now and fussy me can safely say there is lovely quiet level of confidence delivered in their food and wine menu. Each chef delivers a... More

We stopped in here hoping to sit at the bar and have a glass of their extensive wines. But it was heaving with people and it seems to always require a booking. Even the bar was crammed with people eating. The ambience felt new and clean. Most patrons seemed young and on the trendy side. I would have enjoyed trying... More

nice little wine bar/restaurant on a pleasant London street. Great selection of wines. Food was good but not fabulous, perfectly fine, However the overall feel of the place makes it a nice place for supper and wine. Been a few times over a period of years, and would still go back.Wise to book. However there are a few restaurants nearby... More

I recall a weekday lunch I enjoyed as a sole diner in what, I think, is Vinoteca's original branch near Farringdon station. It was a busy bustling place, mainly accommodating city workers, and not having booked, I was lucky to find a table. Arriving with my wife and daughter for Sunday lunch, the atmosphere at Vinoteca Marylebone (as it's just... More

We had a private event in their large room with work colleagues. The pre meal cocktail hour was pleasant and the service was polite and attentive. The meal was excellent. I tried the duck and was not disappointed.

Two colleagues and I had supper at Vinoteca. As you might expect, the wine selection wa great, especially by the glass. I was surprised they only offer one "flight" of wine. The food menu is relatively short. A colleague and I had the Bovette - it was tasty but a little tough. The fries were steak variety - OK, although... More

Description
Inspired by the wine bars of Spain and Italy, we serve simple yet imaginative food with characterful wine to drink in or take away. Vinoteca combines high quality, characterful wine with a selection of paired dishes created from fresh and seasonal produce.

Vinoteca Marylebone is atmospheric and unfussy, with walls of wine to buy
and great for private dining. Downstairs from the wine bar, restaurant and shop, the Marylebone Private Dining Room offers a completely exclusive space with its own kitchen, personal chef, and dedicated waiting staff.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
