I like their coffee better than other places. It is not cheap but OK. 2 or 3 pounds. It is open until 11 at night and the downstairs area is open until 9. Most of the times downstairs is peaceful and I can sit and talk with my girlfriend. It is not as good as a restaurant but because it... More

Called into Starbucks to try the new "warmed" Swedish Bun everybody's talking about. The rumours are spot on .. My husband and I tried both the Almond and Cinnamon Nordic bun and could not have felt more comfortable and happy to be indulging in this new warm well made pastry in the cosy warm atmosphere. All so addictive... can't wait... More

Thank goodness there was one nearby. The local coffee houses were way too strong for my tastes. This was right on the way to the underground or buses.

Just another Starbucks. Not bad. Not overly exciting. Hard to get good coffee in London, so people tend to flock there.

I grabbed a couple of teas and a yogurt parfait to take back to the hotel when we were all sick, and I was really pleased with how quick the service was and the food selection.

This two-level Starbucks is located a block from the Queensway tube station. A lower level with plenty of seating and charging stations is a plus. There is a strong wifi signal throughout the establishment.

But the may make it cleaner. Guy came downstairs but didn't care about cleaning tables. In my oppinion they could improve this.

Generally speaking very good. But have heard the staff chatting like arguing (loud and a little aggressive) once. At the beginning I thought two customers were arguing in the shop but it was so long (lasts about 20 minutes) and finally I noticed it was a male staff and female staff (East European accent) chatting or arguing with each other,... Having just arrived in London tired and needing something quick to eat, scouted around the neighbourhood and found this location of Starbuck's; perhaps not what one would envision for British-type food, but it fit the bill for this occasion. Grilled, the croissant was quite tasty and not badly priced.

Located part of the way down Queensway, this Starbucks is a good stopover for morning or afternoon coffee and offers the standard Starbucks fare.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
