Staying at the h10 next door we called in for a pint hanging baskets out side filled with great flowers. A great London pub

This is a traditional, unreconstructed boozer. Good to drop in for a late night pint, a pool table, a genuine local with regulars. Good service. What you see is what you get.

We were looking for a small, local place - and this ended up being at the end of the block from our AirBnB room. All the staff were friendly and helpful to us tourists - my husband ended up closing the bar a couple of nights :-) We missed the breakfast they serve, but the beer choices were plentiful and... Popped in for a quiet pint and was pleasantly surprised at the welcoming people. a few people were playing music on the jukebox and having a dance on the spacious floor. The interior was a bit dated but it had everything eg large screens a nice pool table ideal for an afternoon if you like watching sports.

Shaun was behind the bar during my visit, and he kept a steady flow of jokes, drinks, and crisps. Very hospitable place, typical neighborhood pub with grub, locals, and chat about football. Snooker table, jukebox, and televisions round out the entertainment, but Shaun is the star. Just off Waterloo, very walkable from both Waterloo and Lambeth tubes.

Small pub, has a pool table. Average price, not a great selection of beers and ales. Food average pub grub. Seats outside and beer garden in the summer is nice.

Traditional London pub 10 minutes walk from Waterloo Rail Station. Pub atmosphere - at the end of Waterloo Road. Landlord very welcoming. Excellent fish & chip lunch at a brilliant price. Beer good too. Has a small beer garden at the rear which is quieter. Would recommend for ladies too.

Shaun and Barry move effortlessly behind to bar, whilst pouring drinks, removing packets of crisps, and keeping the valued punters entertained simultaneously. After a much needed facelift the pub boast a pretty snazzy interior, which alludes to the feel of a fifteenth century ale inn, mixed with an inner city drinking hole. Whether you're in for that quick midweek pint... More

A lovely and unassuming pub with a great beer garden in which to enjoy our british summer. Many thanks to the lovely staff who looked after us, particularly when in need of a taxi to get us home. We had a great evening!
