After walking around the Tower of London during Easter weekend, I was ready for a nice sit-down lunch, preferably with an adult beverage. Did not feel like waiting in line anywhere, and we happened to come across this little restaurant. It was not obvious, since it was right next to a church and my husband and I walked around a... Slow service, small menu, uninteresting surroundings, uncomfortable chairs and average food. No reason to eat here.

We stumbled on this little gem whilst trying to find somewhere for breakfast that isn't full of tourists! We sat outside in the garden and it was lovely and quiet you wouldn't believe you were in the centre of London. I had a full English breakfast and it was lovely! cooked to perfection! Would visit again!

The place is really cosy and few steps from Tower hill. The food was delicious but for the price I spent, I was expecting a bigger english Breakfast. Even the service is quite slow, and the place was no busy at all.

I have had a couple of lunches here and also recently attended their launch party. It's a fantastic venue, very light and airy right by the Tower of London. Pizzas are huge and full of flavor. The staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Between all the attractions from the city you find this hidden place. We came for a simpel breakfast but it was very tasty! A real delight between the busy tourist to escape to this quit place. Also a great thanks to the service, they were very friendly and helpfull.

Working in the city I really struggle to find somewhere to 'eat in' other than mega busy and ropey chain sandwich shops where you have to sit on top of other people and can't hear yourself think so thank god for this lovely little venue!!! Set in a great location with a lovely little courtyard which is so rare in... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
