The £40 menu was worse than £30 speaks volumes about the restaurant, the chicken was really dry, accompanied with the basmati rice which was also poor and dry absent of any flavour (even salt). the Creme broulie was beautiful, the only saving grace!

As we were not doing anything on a Monday we decided to try afternoon tea in the hotel. My husband was really not keen but he enjoyed the most . Creamy macoroon was worth dying for...

We celebrated our son's first birthday with 50-60 family and friends in Nirvana Lounge last weekend, Nov 27th. Venue was amazing! Beautiful view of London and Thames river, great set up, amazing terrace, and surprisingly warm for adults/children. Served buffet food! The food quality, taste and portion size was great. Everyone loved the venue and food. Service was great as... More

The restaurant was pleasant but lack atmosphere a little. Great views across the River Thames :) I found items on the menu a little on the pricey side.

Error on my previous review... You have to nit pick to find fault in the hotel. As it was Amazing. And satisfied a great well needed break. Only thing I would say is that perhaps they should give a complementary free breakfast with all emperor suites to meet the high prices paid per night for the suite.

Seemed like a nrw hotel as we were faced with trainee staff that didn't show us to our room, so we spent a while looking around to end up with a room, that didn't face the river, as in pictures, but Halfords and a pet store, even though I had requested a nice view for my partners birthday. The staff... More

A day in London followed by this afternoon tea with champagne, it was very empty so the service was exceptional, all of the food was fresh & very tasty, I paid for it through groupon & although it was lovely I wouldn't have wanted to pay full price. The views are spectacular and if it had been warmer we would've... More

Went with 3 friends for the Champagne and Chocolate afternoon tea bought on Groupon but was left disappointed. The experience began with the waitress asking us which drink we would prefer, as if we were supposed to have memorised the menu beforehand, rather than enjoying the experience of being taken through the event. She then proceeded to pile everything on... More

£17.50 each for a really tasty afternoon tea and outstanding service. The decor and toilets do not seem to be 5 star hence the 4 stars review. Lovely river views.
