Visited the Bierschenke with a group of work colleagues. The beer was fantastic, served in litre stiens by a real German waitress. The food was tasty German Fayre, largely based around sausages of various sorts. It was very reasonably priced given the location. We visited...More

That's what the website promised us for our Christmas dinner booking. In truth it looked virtually the same as it did when I visited there in the summer. A very disappointing experience and didn't deliver what was advertised at all. A few wreaths and branches...More

Although I have been many times and would previously recommended it this was the first time with my 14 year old son. Although it was 18.00 on a Saturday evening and wanted an evening meal we were told he was not allowed. This is not...More

Servus Barry, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are very sorry that your Saturday evening didn’t go as planned. We are a quirky and different venue from other pubs and restaurants and after having some difficulties with children not being comfortable in the...More

Biers are good, the atmosphere is cozy and very German. The staff is friendly and serviceminded and the food is amazing. I would for sure recommend you going there. Especially Laura helped to make our experience even better.

We were a group of 6. It took us about 10 minutes (!) to get the waitress' attention to order some drinks. 20 mins later we were ready to order some food - rather than the staff anticipating this, we had to ask for the...More

We booked a table here for a birthday party. Sadly, the evening was so disjointed, due to very unnecessary issues, the evening become more of a frustration than a celebration. Our server started the evening both friendly and attentive. That lasted for about 5 minutes....More

What can I say? I've been there three times now so I believe I can provide a decent evaluation. The food sounds great, everything you can ask from a German traditional menu. Value for money for FOOD is great, you get massive portions - as...More

This place recently opened up in the building previously occupied by Henry's. It's an odd one; a very sweet young lady was keen for me to start a tab, but I politely declined as wasn't up for giving them my card. I opted to order...More

Lovely food & staff. Beers were decent Munich beers. Lacking atmosphere, though it was a tuesday night. Full of Germans which is a good sign. The only odd thing we found was that they either wanted to keep your bank card or you had to...More
