Close to a number of theatres and just across the road from the Noel Coward Theatre, this is an ideal venue for a meal before going to see a show. We had pre-booked so no problem getting a table but the restaurant was very busy so glad that we had booked. We only wanted a light meal and had limited... More

The restaurant was full and consequently very busy. I rarely award 5 stars but congratulations are certainly due to the management and staff. The service was perfect and fast with the usual good standard cuisine.

We went in on a Friday evening. The place was busy and bustling, but they found a table for 2 in a couple of minutes. There were lost of families and groups and a real buzz. The food was pretty quick, but also pretty good. Good wine. They also cater for both pre and after theatre dinners.

Came back here because we had a very good experience on our last visit.Very pleasant receptionist seated us at a table in the window.Went down hill after that.Very slow service. We went a la carte and chose a Breton fish stew and haddock wrapped in bacon. The haddock was very overlooked - felt it had been kept warm until the stew was... Stopped in for a "Full English". Food quality was good, well presented and freshly prepared, Disappointing that the waiter did not understand what "Over Easy" meant in relation to his question about how I wanted my eggs, surely with so many visitors that this should be understood? Overall pleased with the meal that was reasonably good value for money and... More

We had the pre- theatre menu here and it was very good. We were quickly seated down stairs because we hadn't booked. Menus were on the table. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. Our food arrived promptly as you would expect for pre-theatre dining but we didn't feel rushed. We both had the mussels for starters and these were very... More

Went here for lunch on recent trip prior to a matinee, and were pleased overall by the experience. Food was seafood oriented, and we enjoyed the service, tastes and value. Were seated promptly and served by pleasant waiter. Nice variety of items to select from, and while we did not try any wine from the list, it seemed to feature... More

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
