I had dinner with a colleague and ordered some Young Yang Bap (mixed grain rice) to go with a Grilled Beef Tongue. The waiter advised us that it required 20 minutes to be prepared, so we asked for the food to be delivered altogether. Instead,...More

I've been to Kimchee several times over the past few years. I'm vegetarian and although I always get the same meal (udon noodles with tofu) there's other veggie options too. The food is delicious and service always good. I'm not keen on sitting next to...More

Dolsot bibimbap is a classic - if a Korean restaurant can't get that right then it's not worth visiting, and this place makes some of the blandest bulgogi known to man. Bibimbap is not hard, so there's no excuse for getting it wrong. Apart from...More

I have been here many times, mostly with friends but have come with family on 2 occasions. I usually get the bibimbap, which comes in a hot stone bowl, so it's still cooking when it arrives at your table and you have to stir it...More

Although popular this Friday lunchtime there were a fair number of of spare tables, which meant queuing at the door felt as unnecessary as it was frustrating. The food was as good as ever albeit a main of beef bibimbap came before we had even...More

It gets busy in evening, especially on fridays, so advance booking is recommended. Usual wait time is 10-30 mins if not booked in advance.

Authentic korean food in the heart of london. Set in sumptious interiors, Kimchee provides a beautiful atmosphere in which to enjoy elegantly presented Korean cuisine. Set in mid-town (on High Holborn, between Holbron tube and Chancery Lane tube); Kimchee presents a lively atmosphere in which to share a business lunch, a group outing on a late weekend lunch, or sip some fusion cocktails over some sharing platters on a night out.
