The food at Medlars is excellent - interesting (I began with Wild Garlic Soup, which is a vivid green colour), beautifully presented and tasty. My companions were equally enthusiastic about their first and main courses. We all finished with the cheese board; a wonderful selection...More

I booked Medlar for a late leisurely lunch with 3 friends on a Sunday and we were not disappointed. Its rare that i spend a solid 20 mins deciding what the choose off a menu but literally every option sounded delicious and what we eventually...More

This is a simple review to write as Medlar provides good quality food, well cooked, pleasantly and efficiently served in a family friendly environment. I never attempt to describe dishes in detail as they will change and I am no cook. We felt that the...More

I took my french girlfriend there and she was not impressed. The food presentation was great, but it was a lack of flavour in our dishes. Really expensive for what you get, hard to believe that this is a Michelin star.

Another fantastic meal here. Have been coming for close to ten years, I think, and it is still absolutely consistent. Waiters were excellent. Food is well judged, interesting, precise with great ingredients.

On a bitterly cold night lovely to walk in to a restaurant that is comfortably warm and inviting. We found courteous, friendly and attentive staff. The menu has enough dishes that are "different" to make it an experience rather than just another meal out. The...More

Exemplary service, cosy atmosphere and delicious food. Went for the tasting menu with paired wines which was pretty good value. Food portions were just right and they certainly didn't skimp on the wine all of which was excellent and complemented each course. They were perfectly...More

Such a great restaurant. Amazing service. The food was a work of art and so unbelievably delicious. Every bite was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's
upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops,
eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at
its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely
unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this
showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price
tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down
pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal

I took my dogs there (terrier and spaniel). Rang first to make sure. I don't think they are keen on large dogs, but ok with small ones
