My birthday gift from my son. We both love food and here we had the opportunity of a vegetarian taster menu. As soon as we walked in we felt relaxed, all the staff without exception were friendly relaxed and smiled. We chose the 5 course taster (which ended up with 9 different courses) was amazing, including a fun game as... More

Excellent food. The seafood starter was really delicious. All our main courses were full of flavour. For dessert my daughter had the cheeseboard which she really enjoyed. My husband and I opted for the banana soufflé which was superb. It was an added bonus to sit at the chefs table watching them make our dessert and seeing the attention to... More

Pollen Street Social 'set lunch' is incredible feast of a lunch... canapés, afternoon tea (I know but you need to try it), starter, main course, palette cleanser, pudding, coffee & sweets. Try it or miss out!

It's not easy to find a restaurant with style and substance in London but pollen street social got it all. Located in central London, the restaurant is the place that you should not miss. They serve modern British/european food which is lovely. The service and decor is lovely. It's very chic restaurant. I'll go back there absolutely

We were stuck in horrendous traffic and running a little late for our 12.15 reservation, so we called to let the restaurant know, they made it clear we would have to vacate the table by 2.15. So when we hurriedly arrived after jumping out of our cab which was not moving, we were rather surprised to find our table was... More

This was our second visit to Pollen Street Social and what a great place this is. We were there for lunch this time having visited for dinner previously. The atmosphere was electric, the staff attentive, friendly and willing to engage in some banter. (praise goes out to waiter Jason). Our. 3 course lunch set-menu with 3 or 4 choices was... More

Excellent food combined with exemplary service. We sat at the dessert bar after the main courses, worth doing. Never had a meal with So much fun and enjoyable food. The desserts (Eton mess and pave) in the 5-course meal r the highlight. Banana Soufflé was so light and fluffy it's just heavenly.

We had been looking forward to going to the Pollen Street Social since reading reviews & booking a few weeks back and it did not disappoint. We were a little early and were greeted warmly by the staff, we sat at the bar and had a drink and spoke with all the bar staff who were very friendly. We opted... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
