As one of the very few places doing Easter-themed Afternoon Tea, we decided to give the SkyLounge a try for Easter :) The service was great, there was no waiting around for our tea, and the ladies made sure to check on us to top up our tea or bring out the next course. My English Breakfast tea was just... More

Enjoyed a house cocktail whilst taking in the views. A little pricey for drinks but no more so than similar locations in the area. Plenty of seating both inside and out

A must visit. Breathtaking views of the heart of London. Kids enjoyed as well and was a fab start to our weekend.

The drinks are expensive, £6/bottle lager & £9/glass of Prosecco. So really it's the views that you pay for. well worth going up there both in the day 7 to see the London skyline at night

On the 12th floor you think you wouldn't get much of a view, but you would be mistaken, I say it's a hidden gem of london, just the right hight to see the landscape very well. I actually got shown around by a very helpful man from the front desk earlier that day, the views were good then but I... More

Firstly the view is incredible, you're only 50m or so from the Thames and 12 stories up. To enter the bar you walk along the building alongside floor to ceiling windows to take it all in. You draw breath such is the sense of occasion. You will get a view out of the bar looking south from the North bank... More

I stayed at the Tower of London Double tree hotel and had access to the sky lounge. I used it during the day and the afternoon in the summer after sight seeing it was a lovely place for a cup of tea or a drink with wonderful views. At night it gets quite clubby, a line develops in the lobby... More

Whether you are staying at the hotel or not, this is a great option for a drink and viewing over London Bridge.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
