The views are fantastic as the hotel is right next to Tower Bridge. The drinks are pricey but in line with similar cocktail lounges elsewhere in central London. The service was fantastic; Nicolas was one of the best waiters I've encountered in London, and his cocktail suggestions were on point.

We ended up at the Skylounge at the Hilton DoubleTree as a spur of the moment decision this week for drinks with friends. The location is handy (a few minutes walk from Tower Hill tube station) and the views from the 12th floor outside balcony/terrace are lovely. Prices are extortionate and probably slightly high even for London. Despite having pumps... More

Very noisy, very crowded, under staffed, the cocktails are full of ice and they forgot to add the champagne -- would not visit the bar again.

The view can be stunning, however the price for the drinks was extortionate, even for London. Atmosphere and decor let it down. We stayed for just one drink, but would have loved to have spent the night if it had lived up to the potential.

Went to this roof top bar for a drinks with business partner. The outdoor podium is accessible and you can command an elevated view over the Tower Bridge from a not so far distance. The bar service is efficient and the wine by the glass was good taste too.

Great roof top bar by Tower Hill station in London. Bar located on the 12th floor of the hotel with views of the City of London. I've been both during the afternoon and the evening and the atmosphere is generally very good. The outdoor space/terrace area is fab! Drinks are on the pricey side but it's one of those where... Have been here a few times and always enjoy it. Usually just for drinks but the snack / sharing plates are good for evening nibbles. Went for lunch recently and was a 50/50 affair. Caesar Salad was fine and rather interestingly presented however the pasta was dreadful. Undercooked and all stuck together. Not pleasant. 3 bottles of wine resolved the... More

This is a lovely spot on a good day! Views of tower bridge and london were fantastic. The drinks were quite pricey but it was lovely to go up to the lounge for just a cocktail and enjoy the view. The staff were lovely and helpful and the atmosphere was great.

Thank Chelesy

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
