We were going to a show that wasn't a regular West End theater and needed to grab dinner after spending the afternoon at the Tower... we were looking for Chinese - our tradition on theater nights in London - and found this lovely and peaceful restaurant nearby the theater. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to sit down,... More

With a name like Grand Imperial and located in the Grosvenor I figured the prices would be outrageous... and they were higher than I expected but they had a Theatre Menu that ranged between £20-£26. Depending on 2-3 courses it also included a glass of house wine. I happened to arrive during a time I could order from this menu,... More

We took our mum to Grand Imperial for dim sum for Mother's Day. It was a lovely day and the restaurant was nice location. The restaurant has nice choices of dim sum and very spacious.

A very opulent looking dining room with an expected Chinese theme. The staff are very attentive but discreet. The food was extremely good and cooked to perfection. The selection of desserts proved difficult as there was no indication of which were suitable for vegetarians. The staff did their best to advise but were not 100% sure of ingredients as they... I eat here regularly with an elderly friend who travels in to Victoria. It's next door in the Grosvenor hotel (which itself has a lobby worth a brief peak). The food is generally good, mid-sized portions. I think it is expensive due to location rather than quality. Main course £15 or more. A gin and tonic was £7.50. The service... More

The ambience of the room was lovely, the service was very good and the food quite fine. We had one of the preset dinners and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is in The Grosvenor Hotel at Victoria Station so it is easy to find whether staying there or in the area looking for a spot for very good Chinese... More

We dined here on the last night of a very long European trip and it was one of the best meals we had the entire time. It was very high quality and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The service was excellent, and from the moment we walked in everyone was courteous, polite and solicitous. Multiple people took... More

Stayed in the hotel and didn't want to venture far for a meal so thought we would give it a try. There was a large group having a celebration in the restaurant which was great as they had live music ... Bluesy jazzy lounge music which added to the whole experience. We both had the seven course vegetarian set option... More

Went for dinner there this week, with 3 Chinese (Mainland) colleagues. Reception was fine, order was taken efficiently. Food was very nice, although a little expensive. Enjoyable but I wouldn't hurry back.
