- Cake and coffee is Ok, - Service is too slow, manager so arrogant, - Toilets (1 for female, 1 for male) too crowded, needed to be care of, - There are 2 types of menus: 1- for people who ask about the prices, 2- designed to the majority of Arab who do not ask (without prices), - The manager... Such tempting delicious cakes should only be eaten occasionally and savoured. We all had something different and then tasted all of them. Some were better than others - the date cheesecake was excellent - but all were nice. The service was excellent if a little slow but this is a place is sit and chat and not be in a... More

This is a cafe I've often eaten in at lunchtime. The food's usually fresh and tasty but on this visit it was early evening and everything looked tired and dried up, in the end just had a cup of coffee

I have been visited the place with some friends. We ordered the lotus cake and they told us it was available in one hour. So we changed into a different one; but as soon as we started to eat we saw after 10 minutes the cake we wanted being served and nobody was so kind to inform us.iThe waitress (young,... More

While spending the weekend in Kensington, i walked past this place a few times before i actually went inside. L'Opera is the best café i have been in, filled with art work, traditional furnishings, wonderful staff and excellent food/drinks. Initially i went in for breakfast but ended up having the Red Velvet cake which was delicious. All of the staff... More

Went there for Arabic coffee. Lovely environment and nice coffee as well. Most customers are from the middle east and mainly from the gulf states i.e. Saudi, Kuwait...etc They have another branch next block which is much bigger than this one. Would recommend this cafe if you want an Arabic coffee with midleasten atmosphere as they play arabic songs inside... More

We came here for a hot drink on one of the rainy and cold days in London to warm up again. The cappuccino was very nice, and the hot chocolate is hot milk with a chocolate bar to melt. I also ordered a chocolate cake with ice cream, which was delicious. The portions of the drinks is standard to large,... More

Would not recommend this place. Before entering the venue we enquirer whether they served scones and were told they did, and so decided to enter. When it came to ordering desert we were then told that they do not have scones! Staff were inattentive and the owner, rude to his waitresses. It took them three times before generating the correct... And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
