We had a good mix of curries to share amongst all of us, with some papadam's and naan breads. Overall, the food was tasty and serving sizes were adequate. The service was a bit average, with the waiter ordering the wrong beer for me right at the start. The cost was not cheap, but pretty standard for this area. The... More

My family and friends had dinner here in the Christmas- new year holiday week. We had reserved and that helped get a table quickly. The ambience is very nice. It is spacious, has warm colours and even with lots of tables it doesn't sound chaotic like a pretty well known Chinese restaurant we went to. The dahi puri, angrezi cheese... More

I've been here a few times and never regretted it. After nine years living in India I find it hard to get a decent curry in London for a fair price, Masala Zone is the one place I keep going back to. The thalis are excellent, decent size portions, nice dishes, and pretty authentic. Some nice and unusual starters too... More

We called in without a reservation on New Year's Eve and the staff went to some effort to find us a table. The food was outstanding (although the sauce with the lamb shank was a little bland). The service was excellent. It's a delightful restaurant. They helped make our New Year celebration very special.

About 20 of us went here in the evening. We had pre-ordered the food in advance but that didn't help as the meal turned in to complete confusion as to who had ordered what. We were some dishes short and needed to order more because the portions were small. It came to about £40 a head for a curry, side,... More

We found Masala Zone Soho by chance and the food is fantastic. This is our second visit and both meals have been excellent. Friendly and quick service. The food itself is very tasty and there's a different selection to that which you may find in a typical Indian restaurant. The prices are a little high but I think for what... More

Our first dinner in London was here and it was very nice. The food was authentic and a bit different than what we get in Los Angeles which was fine.

moved into the area recently and hoped we could find a good Indian restaurant, Masala Zone haven't disappointed. Lovely staff and great food, BUT be warned you really should book a table if eating in the restaurant as they do get very busy. Highly recommend

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
