We only went here because the Zizzi's at Victoria didn't accept our Tesco Clubcard vouchers, but were pleasantly surprised to find such a top location, overlooking the yachting marina and docks. Unlike other chain restaurants in London, this was quiet ( mid week evening) and there was no wait for a table. The food was fairly average ( my pizza... More

I've eaten here a number of times & sometimes it's been great (I tend to have salads) but a few times it's been a naff salad. This week I was very disappointed with what looked like a leftover salad of a few leaves, over ripe tomatoes, slimey red onion, tough chicken & a very ropey piece of prosciutto on top.... More

Always stay in the Tower Hill area when in London. Walked in on a quiet Saturday evening restaurant was half full at best. Told by a rude young man there might be one table left. ( it was half empty ) Sat down , young man came back and threw down some colouring to my child in such an off... More

I genuinely could not write this review quick enough. My boyfriend and I booked a table TONIGHT, first time in London so having previously looked at reviews I thought this would be different. WHAT A LET DOWN. I witnessed 2 tables return their food, 1 table waited on cutlery while their food was on the table for about 10 minutes.... More

We went here for a meal after a day out in London in half term, on Valentine's Day actually, but there was room for us luckily. The staff were lovely, and there is a kids menu with an activity sheet. 3 courses for £6.95 for the children plus a free choccacino if they want one after pudding. Our meals were... More

This restaurant have great views, great staff and great food. The staff is very friendly and the food was served quite promptly. The food is as you would expect from any other Zizzi restaurant but the edge is the views you get of the docks. A really nice place for having lunches. Watch out for the different vouchers you can... While walking around Tower of London me and my friends got hungry. We spotted Zizzi hidden on the ground floor of the modern, posh office building. We got in- Ola get us to a nice table with the views of old church. Stunning. We didn't quite know what to choose so we just had whatever they recommended. Food arrived quickly... More

Description
At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Less than a 5 minute walk from Tower Hill tube station, our Tower Hill restaurant is located right by London’s iconic Tower of London. And although our restaurant sits at the base of the stunningly modern Tower Place building, just to the right of our entrance is All Hallows by the Tower: the oldest church in the city of London. In fact, it’s the final resting place of several who were beheaded at the Tower back in the day. But try not to think about that while you’re eating. Wifi available here

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
