I had bought a groupon deal for a meal for two and as it was my birthday I decided it would be something different to do as we were staying the weekend in London. We were Warmley welcomed and sat by the windows with some of the most wonderful views. The service was prompt and professional as you would expect... More

Lovely restaurant. Food and service always exceptional. Been there a few times with my boyfriend and we're never disappointed. Lovely view over the Thames and just a short walk from Waterloo Station!

A once in a lifetime amazing treat! We felt like royalty from the arrival of the VIP tickets until we were waved off in the early hours! Fabulous food, non stop wine and attention from the professional waiters. It was a really glamorous evening. Our table at the window had a great view of the festivities on the Thames and... More

Went here for Sunday Lunch. Had four different choices of meat and opted for the beef.. I thought it would be a couple of thin slices of beef, but were served a nice big juicy steak, along with a lovely big Yorkshire, Roast Potato's, and three vegetables. There was also your own individual Gravy Boat..... I am 65 years old,... More

Visited The Yacht London with a friend for an evening meal. The views were amazing, food was great and service was brilliant. Had a 3 course meal and each dish was a great size, you didn't feel to full on any of them. The best dish was the Hake, the fish was amazing and the sauce was gorgeous! Had the... More

Our visit to The Yacht London exceeded the expectations: if the boat itself already invites you to travel in a different world, the ambiance inside is even more exciting as you walk into an elegant and very intimate territory. We always try different restaurants and new places and this visit was unexpectedly remarkable: professional and very friendly staff, tasty dishes... More

We visited London, and it was one of those cold days when sleet was falling - visibility was low and the top of the Shard could not be seen. The Yacht provided us with a meal with a view, we could see many of the London icons without needing to book a table in the 20th floor. The service was... More

Moored on the Thames close to the city's most famous landmarks, The Yacht London has earned its exclusive status as 'Mayfair of the river'. Crisp cosmopolitan design features expanses of brushed silver, whilst glass surroundings offer uninterrupted views across the water. The Yacht, originally the St Katharine, 130ft in length with a 26ft beam, was commissioned by the Port of London Authority in 1927 from Philip and Son Ltd of Dartmouth for the princely sum of £21,512. She was employed on survey and inspection work until the outbreak of war in 1939 when she was taken over by the Admiralty. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visited the Yacht in 1949 and then again 10 years later. Sir Winston Churchill smoked one of his famous cigars of the stern of the top deck, the site of our new Martell Cigar Lounge. In 1971 the St Katharine was sold to Robins (Marine) Ltd to be used as a floating restaurant and she has now been carefully restored in close consultation with English Heritage and PLA Archivists to bring her back to her former glory, retaining many original features of the Art Deco era with a twist of contemporary design.
