You better like meet! Yummy food, and huge selection of wines. The restaurant is large but not noisy, and the view is just outstanding.

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 14 February 2017 via mobile

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here. All 3 courses were delicious. The main course of roast chicken was huge! Fab views of St Paul's cathedral. Impeccable service. And very accommodating to us having our baby there and being able to feed him after our meal. Highly recommended.

Now I know that this restaurant isn't exactly cheap but for the price you pay I thought the food would be amazing but was just nice . I had the chicken dish and although it was cooked well , £19 for a handful of chicken and no sides was just ridiculous! I have to say the decor and service was... More

First time I have visited with a group and I comment as follows. Time We booked for noon as a group from work had recently visited and were there for over 4 hours, we didn't fair any better despite out early arrival. Despite booking well in advance, we didn't get called to out table until 1240, there was only a... More

The location of this restaurant, its ambience and the service are great. It stops there. I know this is near the City but the price for the quality is overblown. The wine list has very few affordable bottles and many with expensive mark-ups. I suppose all this would have been fine except that the food was ordinary. My lamb chops... More

Me and my boyfriend came here in February for our anniversary dinner. We came here based on the reviews and it was near our hotel but we were hugely disappointed. The starter wasn't great at all, the calamari was chewy and the sauce didn't go and my boyfriend had the pork scratchings which he described as crisps. I had the... More

Not really my kind of place (prefer good hearty meals) but for this type of restaurant this is a good choice, food was nice, 3 course lunchtime menu, all 3 really well cooked. Wagyu burger was nice, the chips were proper chips like my mam cooked in the 80's and the pineapple tarte tatin was mouth watering. As I say... More

The view and ambience of this restaurant are fabulous and the service was very good too. However, the food was not up to the mark. The carpaccio was too thick and very chewy and the main course pork chop and sides were all tongue-curlingly salty! I know everyone has differing tastes on seasoning, but it was almost inedible. I also... More

This is not great at all. One of us had the ribs. If you served these in the US, you'd get laughed at. Dry, sauce disappointing. Jamie is having a laugh with the prices for the quality. Lamb chops were better. Broccoli came with some sort of weird cheese stuff on top. If you told me it was from a... More

Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Our waitress, Anna, I think, was great and really helpful. Food was lovely, ribs and calamari to start and rump and pitt beef for mains and the peanut dessert to finish with. They also gave us a Happy Anniversary treat at the end which just rounded off a great experience

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
