My boyfriend and I found Ichi Sushi through tripadvisor, but I'm sad to say that our expectations weren't quite met. The restaurant itself is nice enough: a stylish interior with the sushi made at the counter. The menu offers lots of different sushi options and also a nice selection of sake. We went for the 35 pond menu. The menu... More

My husband and I wandered into the hotel after seeing it on tripadvisor and were delighted with our visit. Starving from walking about the city, we shared 7 rolls and beers all for no more than 75 pounds total. Everything was extremely fresh tasting and tasty! The place is quite small but modern and beautiful. We came around opening and... More

The restaurant was cold, not cosy at all, staff was very unfriendly, the quality of the sushi was less than average.. and last but not least.. it was very expensive for what you get. Real sushi addicts, really disapointed!!!!!

Poor service in half empty restaurant, below average rolls, good quality sashimi but not happy that fish got in contact with lemon slice (??). Would not repeat.

I ate here on Thursdy evening after booking it based on the reviews I'd read. I wasn't dissapointed. Nice menu with lots of choice, beautifully presented and prompt.service. A little pricey at about £100 for two of us, but otherwise all good.

Tried Ichi as we've never braved sushi before as my partner isn't too keen on fish. Found the restaurant to be a little smaller than expected. It was very nicely decorated and the atmosphere felt quite Japanese. The service was good and the staff were very attentive. The food was great with a large choice of sushi with seafood and... More

This is a small restaurant in the hotel and would probably do even better if they had the extra space. Food is good and the service quick, they turn the tables over quickly. Best to make a booking.

One of our favourite sushi places - we were staying in the Park Plaza this weekend and decided to have our final lunch today here. It's quite small inside but nicely decorated, and the single waitress was efficient and friendly despite being very busy. The soft shell crab was lovely, and the beef teriyaki rolls were really tasty (the smokiness... More

Quick lunchtime meal. Food was fresh and very tasty. Lots of sushi restaurants around in London so plenty of completion. This was good and made for a very enjoying lunch experience. Not cheap but not expensive compared to other places in London. Good service.

We had a nice lunch at Ichi Sushi. The food is good and reasonably priced for London. The restaurant is small and tucked away at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel. The service was okay and ambiance average.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
