Popped in late in the evening and was impressed with the quality of the food. Great choice as an alternative to some of the big fast food chains nearby.

This is the best curry I have eaten since I lived in Mannheim Germany!!! Very tiny place and the locals eat here, so lunchtime is busy. Enjoy!

This little friendly eatery is very nearly the best currywurst I have experienced outside Düsseldorf. Great flavour and the sauce is perfect. It is well worth a visit. Only beaten by a Christmas market in Bedford 2 years ago!

Really good sausages and hot dogs, but too expensive unfortunately. If you are realy hungry and don't mind paying a bit more, give it a try.

Introduced by a German friend, Herman ze German sure did not let me down. It's a cozy environment and it's only minutes off the embankment station (exit the station on the left). I find the menu a little overwhelming but I'm sure German will find that useful. We enjoyed the bratwurst the most and the baguette is a long one... More

This is a great place to relax, wash your hands and get a quick sausage. The sausages are quite delicious and the schnitzel is not bad either! Wash your hands, get warm if it's cold out and enjoy a quick meal. It is a little bit pricey though.

Stopped in for a tasty quick lunch. They had a variety of sausages and schnitzels - we had one of each and both were delicious.

Comes close to being as good as the real deal in Berlin! Sauerkraut was amazing as were the chips. Wish I had a bigger appetite so I could have eaten even more! The wurst was slightly cold in the centre but that wasn't a problem as the sauce was really warm. Will definitely be visiting again when we are next... More

My friends and I found this place by accident as we looked for food near the flat we rented. It looked & smelled interesting so we gave it a try and loved the food ( we did take away) so when I returned to the area I Had to go again and it did not disappoint. I had the curry... More

You would like to tast a German ' Bratwürst ' Try it there. Standard or with extra's. With or without fries. Sauce....ketchup and mustard ! Much butter than Mc Do, but it is as well for a quick bite. Enjoy ! W

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
