I love love love this place. The food is truly the best in London but tonight's manager, Tie, let's the place down. He jittered around awkwardly when we offered to take one of the 10 empty seats in this small eateries. We ended up sitting...More

We go to the wonderful Moro regularly, but thought we would try the sister restaurant Morito, next door. We had a wonderful selection of original tapas amiably served by lovely staff, the atmosphere is great, the prices very reasonable and the food is fabulous.

Food is fresh and tasty but the portions are quite small and some of the dishes are totally overpriced such as £12 for a few slides of jamon, tomato on toast with just a ham slide or for a £7 mini tiny chocolate mousse. I...More

Amazing ingredients and Mediterranean/Middle East flavours. Everything is so fresh and the bread is incredibly good and homemade. Shame they don't have a bakery, I would just travel to Shoreditch to buy it. I only put a 4 as portions are slightly too small, no...More

4 of us came for lunch and as the place is so small the table was tight and sitting on stools for a length of time is just uncomfortable. Food was tasty and we had a good selection including croquettes, crispy squid, sausage, patatas brava,...More

The tapas was good, although not all the dishes were as good as the lamb chops that I had. Service very good and the wine selection yielded an excellent red from Portugal. But the venue is small, the seating minimal and uncomfortable. Yes its tapas,...More

Is it me? Everyone on Tripadvisor raves about it? If Morito was in any Spanish town or city, it would be a very average tapas bar. It is fair to say that the tapas was good, however no way amazing. Clearly the majority of reviewers...More

Superb food, great menu. House wine really good. A lovely busy atmosphere we were out celebrating a birthday and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Will go again!

We called in without a reservation and sat at the bar for a late lunch. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The service was very quick which was ideal as we didn’t have a lot of time before our train. It...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

There are two Moritos. One is in Exmouth market (this one) and the other one is in Hackney road (Shoreditch). The menu is the same (or at least similar) but the Hackney one has opened more recently and is much bigger.
