Group of us met up here for pre arranged drinks. Plus point is the view. That's about it. Both members of bar staff were surly to say the least. My pint of Guinness was awful, flat and not cold enough. So I switched to Peroni,...More

Good place for lunch near Hay's. I would not say the food was spectacular but it was good. I tried the fish finger sandwich and opted for the salad vs chips. Beer selection was good and there is ample seating during the lunch hours. The...More

We went here for some drinks with friends. It's not too far from London Bridge station and right in the river. It was heaving busy but we were served quickly and efficiently. Drinks good but quite expensive, as you'd expect for the location I suppose....More

Dropped in for a couple of drinks before going to another event. The bar lady was very friendly and had a great sense of humour, early on noticing a rather large red dot bruise on my nose and having a good giggle with us about...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

You will find The Horniman at Hays in London Bridge within a short stroll of HMS Belfast, Tooley Street and London Bridge Tube - however you won't find another like it.

Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.

This area along the south bank of the Thames was historically known as the 'Larder of London'. The pub is on the site of the tea warehouse owned by Frederick Horniman, a famous tea dealer, and Hay's Wharf was the largest and oldest wharf in the Port of London. Inside our pub, attractive friezes depict Horniman's travels to Africa, India and the Americas.
