Went with work colleagues and I didn't know what to expect. We arrived a little late just before the entertainment started. I would recommend getting there on time as you don't want to miss anything. Food was good, we had the sharing menu for a group of 14. The service is good, timed to fit in with the entertainment. Great... More

I took my friend for his birthday. He is in a wheelchair and the restaurant accommodated us really well. The food was amazing, the show was so funny and the waiter was so friendly. Just a shame that we could only stay for 2 hours as our table was booked straight after our meal. However, you can hang out in... More

We were a mixed party of 10, they don't do big single sex groups which is great, it was a special occasion as it was my wife's 50 birthday, they kindly upgraded us, at no charge, to the top table without us asking, nice touch. As we were large group we had to have set menu, always worrying but no... More

Hi Neil, Thank you for such a fantastic review! On the odd occasion we have last minute cancellations we do try our best to upgrade people to the stage table, as a nice little extra and we are so glad to hear you enjoyed it! Please come back soon for some more laughter and good food! Best Wishes, The Circus... More

We visited the Circus as part of my friend's 60th birthday. We had an amazing evening- the food was to die for, and the entertainment was brilliant. We booked the table for 9.15 pm which meant we could keep the table for the rest of the evening and enjoy the dancing/disco once the circus entertainment had finished. Our table was... More

The performers were undoubtedly the best I've seen performing in a restaurant. They're also the only performers I've ever seen in a restaurant. I feel like there's a good reason for this. The menu looked exciting, and we had the sharing menu being a group of nine. The prospect of a bit of live performance during dinner sounded interesting, so... More

Hi Dan, I'm sorry to hear that overall you didn't have a great experience despite really enjoying the entertainment and service. Our entertainment does take full focus, intentionally, during the few minutes its performed (shutters down, main lights off, stage lights on) however this is only for a brief period so as not to be too intrusive of the dining... Very nice place! And good news the food is good (which not often the case for a show). We went there with a big team for an incentive trip and everyone enjoyed it. However, when the show is over, you need to move on as there is a second shift. No mercy...

Thank you for your lovely review. We are an entertainment venue but we certainly aim to serve great food to compliment the great shows. We do have two seating’s of an evening but we do encourage guests to stay on in the bar and lounge area for the rest of the evening. Alternatively next time you pay us a visit,... More

We came here for a colleagues leaving party. What a great place, when we found it!! The host was fabulously camp and engaging with the audience. We arrived a little late which meant we were one course behind everyone else. The acts were crazy, hula hooping, roller skating, 50 shades of grey style circus acts. Atmosphere was great, we were... Circus is an innovative combination of West End cocktail bar and cabaret restaurant set in vibrant Covent Garden. The restaurant boasts a highly praised Pan Asian dinner menu, created and overseen by the revered chef Andrew Lassetter. The stylish surrealist interior, formulated by iconic British designer Tom Dixon, transports guests into a decadent world of glamourous escapism from the moment they enter. For those looking for a drinks or dinner venue in Covent Garden to escape the mundaneness of the outside world, then Circus is ideal; the cocktails are heavenly and the dinner menu will delight even the most discerning of palates. As evening falls, the venue springs to life and the spectacle begins as diners sip exotic punches and cocktails. West End London is synonymous with theatre and drama, so it is fitting that Circus hosts complementary cabaret style entertainment at centre-stage of the venue. The charming and mind bendingly skillful acts appear in little bursts throughout the night to entertain and delight. After dinner, the adventures continue as the music is turned up and improptu dancing often occurs. With knowledgable cocktail bartenders furnishing guests with cleverly crafted drinks late into the night, diners and drinkers alike can relax for an entire evening, with a seamless transition from bar to dining room to dance-floor.
