We visited this restaurant on the evening ahead of the London Marathon. we had booked a table for 8:00 although when we arrived there seemed to be some confusion on the booking. however we had a nice table. A very good guitarist was playing background music throughout the evening. The atmosphere was lively. However, the waiting/staff kitchen seemed to struggle... More

There are several odd reviews of this restaurant recently. For my wife and myself, the menu was in no way confusing, the service was relaxed and friendly and the food was delicious. If anything, we did not do the food justice because we were very tired - marathon and all that! Anyway, try the scallops, the swordfish, the expresso martini... More

So I went here for a family meal expecting good things due to some of the reviews on here, we waited at least 10 minutes before being asked what drinks we wanted, when we ordered the starters they were so small and took ages to come. For the mains, we waits about an hour and a half with no explanation... More

The protesters outside should maybe have put us off but unfortunately my OCD friend had already been to everywhere else in Greenwich and therefore we ended up in this place. First impressions were actually good. The outside area is nice and it was a sunny day. The staff were smiling and attentive. The food was not disgusting as my drunken,... More

We had heard that The Hill had been reinvented as a Mediterranean restaurant. Well on seeing the menu we were completely confused. The dishes ranged from Italian, Spanish to South American. I had a boring Tricolour and a poor steak that was supposedly rib eye. The one person who had pizza was happy.

I found this restaurant very confusing - they serve Italian pizza, Peruvian ceviche, Spanish paella, some Ecuadorian dishes and then if that is not enough some modern British bits and bobs. None of the dishes we had were great.... house wine (the only one sold per glass) was very average. Sadly we will not come back ! They should focus... More

I visited this restaurant last night with my partner, after moving into the area few months ago. I'd never heard of it before but was attracted to it's amazing reviews! We had a table booked for 6pm, which is early for dinner but we'd come straight from work, the restaurant was empty, which is understandable given the time, however even... More

Lovely food, very reasonable prices. For a local Greenwich restaurant this oozes charm and quality. I visit this restaurant fortnightly due to its quality and consistency. A real charm.

Average. Good summary. They say specialism is good and this place has none. Tried to be all things to all men and therefore was nothing to anyone Food ok. Service ok. Expensive for what it is

Description
A warm and friendly restaurant and bar with a light and airy atmosphere serving a wonderfully varied Mediterranean menu (with a distinctly Latin American twist!).
We are located in Greenwich, South East London, on the corner of Royal Hill and Point Hill, just a short walk from Greenwich DLR and mainline station.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
