The food is very average, not what you would expect at all from a Michellin star. Prices are way over the top and portions are minuscule but we were kind of expecting that. However, just from a food perspective, I can't even say that was...a good meal. Service is excellent but again, I probably prefer places where staff is a bit more relaxed.More

Splendid experience with such a creative perspective on their decoration! The middle part of the restaurant which is their cellar of wines is just breathtaking… We tried the gnocchi with truffle , the salmon fillet and the freshest salad we’ve ever tried!

This is a very special dining treat but it is very expensive however as long as you know that before you turn up then so be it. Service was impeccable from the outset. Food is exceptional and we found that 3 courses was ample especially...with the amuse bouche, pre-dessert and petit fours. Wine list is extensive and brings an opportunity to indulge. There were 2 negatives. First, on the website there is mention of a smart dress code so my wife called the day before and asked if should could wear smart (and expensive) 'pumps' with a long maxi dress. She was informed that she couldn't. On arrival for lunch we noted that not only was the dress code 'casual' at best, including jeans and trainers for men and flip flops and shorts for ladies, it was bordering on 'scruffy' for some. If you have a dress code please enforce it and be consistent. Second, the prices on the menu are net of VAT. VAT is added to your bill at the end which I have never seen before. In addition, the service charge of 15% (worth every penny by the way) is then added on top so you pay service charge on your added VAT.More

My family took me to this restaurant for a birthday surprise and it didn’t disappoint. We had the tasting menu, plate after plate of wonderful food. The highlights for me were the lobster dish and the cod dish. The staff are very professional, as you...would expect, but friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely return.More

Petrus is by far the stand out favourite restaurant for a "special treat". With lost time to make up for Petrus was one of the first places we booked when things were opening up. As always we received the warm welcome that makes you feel...like a VIP which set the tone for the whole evening. The food as ever was simply divine, imaginitive, wonderfully presented, and beautiful to taste. Excellent wine pairing and information by the great Somellier too. We yet again really honestly couldn't find fault and will return again in the future.More

Excellent in every way. Unsurprisingly the wine list was amazing. The sommelier was very helpful, listened to what i liked, saw what we ordered and offered some suggestions which were well received and very enjoyable. Food was some of the best I've had anywhere in...the world. The extra mini courses they threw in as surprises as we were celebrating our engagement made it extra special. Very please we go here in-between lock downs. A very welcome treat. Service was exemplary, Emma was such a delight in particular.More

Outstanding meal. Came here for a belated birthday present meal with my wife. We were welcomed in and shown straight to the table. The restaurant was very pleasantly laid out and tables not too close to each other. Staff were courteous and attentive throughout. Canapés,...consommé, sorbet served in addition to the 3 course meal. At the end a lovely extra birthday sweet treat was brought out. The food was amazing (as we were expecting). Will gladly return in the future (hopefully will meet Gordon someday! )More

You won’t fine much at £30. The Sommelier is honest, just tell them your budget and ask them to recommend something to match your food. You might find that, on this occasion, one glass of something good is better than... More
