Highly recommend the pig & goose. Dinner for four we all sampled different starters, mains and desserts - everyone agreed they were all delicious, beautifully prepared & perfectly presented. Service was excellent. Good value.

We were with eight French friends who wanted a traditional pub with grub. We only had mains, the French mostly going for the traditional fish and chips. They weren't disappointed, well cooked fish (haddock) with a crisp batter and some of the best pub chips...More

My wife and I ate here with another couple while visiting the U.K. Our favorite appetizer was the Tuna Tartare. It had just the right amount of chilli, lime, coriander, sesame, and wasabi mayo. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Citrus Cured Salmon and the Cauliflower...More

We walked by this one and decided to stop in for a drink. Their homemade alcoholic Ginger Beer is absolutely delicious and recommend trying this when there.

Walking along Fleet Street onto The Strand and called in for a drink. The male bar man was very helpful and the drinks good. The pub was clean and nicely kept and the visit was really nice - would definitely return when out that way...

On face value it seems like a normal friendly city of London pub, however step inside and upstairs to the Pig & Goose restaurant and be absolutely blown away by the food and ambience of this lovely restaurant, which if needs must has a small...More

The George underwent an extensive and considerate refurbishment of the ground floor bar and first floor dining room. This saw the creation of an elegant and sophisticated restaurant; The Pig and Goose and a private dining room.

The stunning Pig & Goose restaurant, lounge bar and oak panelled private dining room is on the first floor of The George, where we serve classic British food for both lunch and dinner daily, with a 90 bin wine list that focuses on Old World classics, however, also showcases the very best in New World wines. We have a cheese trolley featuring 7 British cheeses to pair with our large range of ports, whiskies and brandies. The Pig and Goose is open to seated drinkers and diners daily.
