About once a year we are in London. And then our first choice for the first evening is of course PJ's. We are always happy with the excellent dinner there and the extremely friendly service. We are already looking forward to our next year's trip to London with our daughter and our two grandsons and of course having our first... More

This is well located in south Kensington area. Very good menu to suit all tastes. In particular Brunch offerings are very good and reasonably priced. Very good house Bloody Mary. Good honest food at a sensible price in a fun looking restaurant.

We stumbled across PJ's whilst in London at Christmas and what a find. Couldn't wait to go back and finally managed to last weekend for my fiancées birthday. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The food is second to none and the atmosphere is buzzing. Can't recommend it enough.

I have been here a couple of times for lunch both as a couple as well as with children (well behaved ones!). The layout is a great balance between feeling spacious and airy and the hustle bustle of a french brasserie. I like that they have proper table cloths and they kind of decent service that you wouldn't get if... More

Visited here early evening - service was good, steak was super tasty and reasonably priced for central London. Scrumptious desserts.

The menu looked extensive and interesting and the place welcoming so a friend and I decided to eat here. Service to begin with was OK but as the meal progressed it got slower and slower, despite the place being less than half full, and we even had to ask if we could order desert. My companion started with steak tartare... More

Description
PJ' Bar & Grill, perfectly positioned on Fulham Road and literally 2 minutes away from Brompton Cross and King's Road, has well-deservedly earned its reputation as one of Chelsea's perennial favourite haunts. Popular and liked by all, PJ's generates the kind of atmosphere that is relaxed and makes one feel at home. In a nutshell, unpretentious and contantly good.

With 'polo joe' designed interior - a tribute to owner Brian Stein's love of his polo team - and handsomely suspended wooden aeroplane propeller from one of the first original Vickers -Vimy (1911) centrally suspended over the bar, PJ's still entices both the long-term clientele whilst attracting the next generation of hip residents and Chelsea magnets.

Using good quality and fresh ingredients, PJs constantly source the best ingredients to complement their well thought out menu offerings. PJ's transforms throughout the day with separate Lunch and Dinner menus made available throughout the week and the infamous PJ's Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays remain the one thing one must do on the weekend. The place to be... And the place to be seen.

The service at PJs is friendly and professional. The front of house staff come across
as being genuinely proud of what they do, are knowledgeable and accommodating.
A uniquely elegant and casually sophisticated venue that plays host to many a memorable occasion.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
